Horrendous to be at the game tonight.

To hit the front, with 75% of the crowd screaming lungs out, & then let the opposition kick 4 goals, feels like we are at an all-time low.

How? Why? WTF?

We’re just not very good unfortunately. 8-12-1 in the last 21 games.
Our players cannot execute basic skills consistently
We’ve got “stars” who have completely lost confidence and playing not even close to their best
The coach has been found out and he hasn’t worked out a response
We’re a rabble

I know.
The crowd really got behind the team when we hit the front, just to be let down yet again.
The first half was a disgrace, at least they had a go in the second.
Who the hell was on Bailey Smith?

and in perfect conditions under the roof. how poor must their motivation be to manage that?

The Dogs kicking just looked a class above us tonight. Which we all knew, but I didn't realise it was that much of a gap.

Yet another board and coach have destroyed this club

i dont think its the board, i genuinely dont give a shit who is running the club. ron barassi, norm smith, even synbad couldnt coach this bunch of pea hearts. what professional sports players are so lacking in motivation that they come and and kick three behinds in a quarter? recruiters, coaches, players are all to blame. ross lyon would be sighing with relief he didnt get this gig

The 3 ins were good. That was a positive. Liked Owies' game.

They did, I was worried that was the case but it’s compounded with all the years of losing which preceded it.

When I got to the game they players were out on the ground practicing.
Harry was taking shots for goal. He was kicking straight, not this stupid around the body, and they were going through.
Why does he kick like this during the game? His confidence is shot to pieces.

coz we are used to losing, its comfortable. lets not challenge ourselves to win, we dont need to make finals, its ok if we dont, we can all go home to our luxury houses and be happy in the knowledge we earned more in two hours while failing at our jobs than most do in a month, hiule the people who support them hurt and have to put up with ridicule at work, from mates and family

its ok not to win or make finals for the players, even the prez said that. lets all be happy with a mediocre career nd reap the benefits of mediocrity

You kick one goal in a half of football... under a closed roof... you get what you deserve.

I read in the game thread that the coach deserves credit for the changes after half time... well, who gets the credit for the first?

Losing tonight didn't hurt... not sure if that's good or bad

That is true, I stopped watching at half time and half expected us to hit the front at some point and still lose, which we did.

I think part of it for Harry too is he is being made to work so hard up and down the ground and also to get the ball in a scoring position that is he is physically (and mentally) spent by the time he has to kick it.

He is stuck in a downward spiral of no confidence at the moment.

Could do with just stationing himself in the F50 and being a marking/leading target close to goal all game.

But then with our rubbish game plan we have nobody down the line capable of marking the long bomb out of D50 so...... *shrug*

I guess that went to plan

We get in front Kennedy was our best he comes off doc goes into midfield then we don’t win another clearance surely Cerra should have gone in there

Acres is no good and we give him 3years he is slow fumbles poor disposal and a poor decision maker really he is no better then Newnes would have liked to have kept stocker and played him there

Voss it’s time to start rewarding players who are playing well in the VFL what have you got to lose

3 years???? bugger me, i didnt know it was that long....

brisbane get dunkley who makes them an infinitely better team. pies get no nakes who make them infinitely better. bulldogs get a cricketer who plays well after 5 weeks. we get acres, who makes all the other teams we play infinitely better....

So the respect round can cost us up to 8 premiership points now?? Obviously had woke lag in the first half this week. They better ditch that orange sox poo next year cos it is nothing but a distraction our team doesn't need. 0-8 is too big a thing to ignore
