Nic Newman with more fantasy pints than Charlie (and most disposals) - not a bad effort… |

Pick the holes in that! Saw the last 4 goal alerts and was disappointed none of them were Charlie. Next thing I know, we're up by 108. |

Amazing, and showed what we can do when we play fast direct footy. Anyone know why Durds got so emotional, had a tear when he kicked the last goal? |

You can only slaughter what's put in front of you like a good side does. When was the last time we had the foot on the throat for 4 qtrs like tonight? |

Don't want to rain on everyone's parade but terrible opposition. We did finally have a bit of run though. WOW. |

Can only beat who's on the park and the confidence (and %) booster will be good for us. |

I'd take an 108 pt win and Charlie snagging 9 over an 80 or 90 pt win and Charlie snagging 10. And what a thrill to see Charlie say as much post game. Saying he is happy to see players like Little Durds kick a goal. Could not have asked for more. Coach asked them to play attacking footy handballing as a matter of priority, Kemp looked good, Honey albeit not prolific showed his talent, Kennedy as Sub had impact and we lifted our % out of sight. Now we need to back it up against better teams over the coming 4 to 6 weeks. Go Blues. |

That’s a message to all those doomsayers. I know who we played. Some predicted a loss Some said Voss has lost the plot with his arrogance towards the obvious Some said we are too slow. Add Doc and Saad and a bit of pepper from Crippa and Hewett, and let Cerra and Walsh give us the glue KPFs did their bit with 12 or 13. Smalls kicked a couple Mids finally gave us goals. And what have we got A team that can challenge. We needed a chance to click We should’ve beaten the Saints Go Blues |

We did what we needed to do against a very undermanned weak side. Anything less would have been a fail. Certainly some promising signs. |

Did anyone else miss the start of the game? I checked kayo and it said our game started at 8pm. I was watching the other game and there were no scores showing for our game. It was only when I turned it over at 8 I realized the game had started earlier. |

Hopefully that clears up the question about whether last week we went slow/bombed under instruction from Voss or not. Clearly, when we have the opportunity, Voss wants us to go fast. Now, we have to be able to play that way against tougher opposition. That win ticked a few boxes that I was very nervous about: - We didn’t make it hard or close like we did against GWS and Kangas. - We put in same effort for 4 quarters - We went on with a big win Now, we have a big test over the coming few weeks against much tougher opposition. Hopefully, this was the circuit breaker we needed. |
