I haven't watched the game myself so don't have anything to contribute, but have at it.

We rediscovered our hunger for the football . We went in hard for the football . We had the Saints on the back foot with our ferocity . That has been missing and i will take that. It is the starting point in football . Thats what you build good football teams around . Even though we lost the game i feel that was a turning point coz until now we have been insipid .

I thought a number of players like Cripps Walsh Cerra really had a crack and did all they could. I also felt several players didn't and were insipid

Tony Armstrong just reported on the ABC that Charlie Cameron kicked 3 for us, so I guess that's a positive I wasn't aware of :screwy:

The first half was good, apart from the fwd line.

We were heaps better than last week.
Cerra played really well.
Cincotta had a solid debut.
Good crowd for our only second home game (and away again next week)!
Membrey only kicked 1.2 instead of his usual 4-5.

Midfield got their hands on it this week
Cincotta's debut was very solid
Cerra very good in his 100th
Hollands another mature performance, has been very consistent
No new injuries reported

1. Played well with all our running backmen out injured (Williams Saad Docherty Boyd)
2. We won the 1st half well enough to set up a win but accuracy cost us.
3. We had same number of scoring shots as saints 20 to 20
4. We could have won if not for the three 12 point turnaround from easy misses
5. Our contested game overall was good considering we were playing 5 kids

We should have won
Bad kicking from well played professionals is still our major issue after injury

1. Hollands, the run, the spoil, just a really good kid.
2. Cincotta's debut - good stuff. Well done.
3. We got a lot of the ball (shhh... Im being positive)
4. Lots of shots on goal....
5. I wasn't cold this time.

Spot on...
Negatives is what lost it....
Add.. Not knowing what to do when Saints flood back.... because we took too long to move it... which let them flood,... so we didn't know what to do... (rinse and repeat)... so we bombed it forward

Go Blues
