Harry McKay's one-match ban has been downgraded to a fine, with impact downgraded from 'Medium' to 'Low'. More soon

If we go with the same tall line up the crows will be very happy.
They will run run run. we went tall late last year and they ran us ragged.
Unfortunately there is no room for pitto and de koning. It worked really well all year with Silvagni as a back up.

Sanity prevails. What happened with the Crow who punched the Goal Umpire ? Watch it closely it wasn't a slap or tap.

Yep, a bit of common sense.
It was never medium impact.

What a silly thing to say, this is not a court. It's the football equivalent of an administrative court. That you don't have a right to introduce relevant evidence is simply absurd.

B: Newman Young McGovern
HB: Saad Weitering Cincotta
C: Acres Cripps Hollands
HF: Walsh Harry Motlop
F: C.Durdin Charlie SOJ

R: TDK E.Curnow Cerra
Inter: Cowan, Fisher, Kennedy, Pittonet
Sub: Hewitt

In - Acres, Cincotta, Kennedy, Walsh
Out - Doc (inj), Carroll, Honey, LOB

I’m a fan of Hewitt, but he has been average lately. If we’re keeping the same structure, I reckon it’s a choice between Hewitt & E.Curnow as sub. Unless we’re intending to use one of them or Cerra mostly across HB, in which case Cincotta will be the sub. At the start of the season, there’s no way I would have gone with Ed ahead of Hewitt, but having watched the replay I think Ed is in better form. If Hewitt needs a week off (his hand is probably still bothering him), then I would plump for LOB as sub instead.

Ed has to stay in. And I hope we send him to Dawson. Let Laird run around and get his 1, 2s . He'll rack them up but Dawson is the one that truly damages and sets them up. Limit his influence and you go a long way to beating the Crows. Time to switch on now. They're in hot form and on their own patch. Big test for our boys. Time to show we're genuine

So with the Forward line stacked (sans Owies) and the midfield the strongest it's been all year it's really "just" how we will in for Doc.

Saad goes to Rankine.
Newman on Rochelle (maybe Cowan gets some minutes on him as well)

I think Cerra will play behind the ball a bit, if/when the Crows have momentum. Clean skills, calm in traffic. We can afford this with Walsh, Kennedy, Acres back.

F U AFL. Stop making fools of yourselves & we won't need to make it a court.

Sheezel is an 18 y.o. about half Harry's weight, & he fell down & got up again after a few seconds. No North player remonstrated IIRC. It wasn't medium impact at all.

Glad he got off but annoyed it went this far in the first place.

Ed to Laird . George to Dawson . And when George gets tired switch him to HBF where i expect Chez to play . All due respect to Doc but i reckon Chez and George disperse the footy better ................... and control the tempo . Don't get sucked in by there helter skelter style . Slow it down and frustrate the hell out of them . They are impulsive and will do stupid stuff when they don't get it there way . Go the rope a dope game again . That quick breakaway slingshot game looks good i admit , but it takes its toll on a side and is not sustainable over a whole season . Its just another fad that will die . Grinding defence wins every day of the week . Proved worldwide in every sport . DEFENCE .

Agree and as a result don't think Cincotta comes in.
Doc injury simply settles the debate on who the 3rd player makes way in addition to LOB and Honey.

We lost the plot against Adelaide.
We let them run. We didn't pay them enough respect. Boys got ahead of themselves.
Had no idea how to control tempo, when to run, when to hold.
We paid for that dearly thereafter for season 2022.

We've done much better this year with the 2 rucks and Silvagni not rucking at all.

Good point. Either way, a tagger has an important role to play: Ed stays in.
Laird links them up and keeps them running: Energy
Dawson sets them up or finishes: Polish

Thats's the spirit robertbb.
Much better with the ins.
Gives us the luxury to play Cerra to set us up behind the ball.
Let Saady mind his man and run and gun when we have the ball down back.

This is the Crows Grand Final.
They're on fire.
We have to snuff them.
Give our supporters the ascendency as the 19th man.
