Fellow TC'ers, i need some advice on seating at Marvel stadium

i havent been to the footy in melbourne for 12 years and we will be going to the north melbourne game, with my 5 year old daughter

this will be my only game i will see while in melbourne and i'm unlikely to be back for another 10 years

what is general admission seating like these days? is it worth forking out the extra for second level seating? is it better to book third level? personally i used to stand behind the seats on the first level so the umps could hear my informed opinions, but the kid wont be abl to do that for as long

any and all advice will be greatly appreciated, mods, move it into the correct forum if this one isnt right

GA is usually level 3, sometimes level 1 is available but depends on the game. First few rows of Level 3 are usually kept for reserved seats too.

For the Norf game I'd upgrade to a seat if $ permits, as it will probably be a decent crowd from them being on Good Friday. All our Marvel games last year got pretty big crowds.

its about 5 or 6 rows back, but if you get their super early the seats are okay ..

honestly, is spend the extra dollars if its possible, get reserved seats, enjoy the day, get some lunch, enjoy the stadium and its surrounds and then stroll to your seat :-)

Yep, especially given reserved seat for your little one won't cost much at all.

I find it a frustrating place to watch footy if I don't have a reserved seat. Watching game from level 2 is pretty good, but atmosphere on Level 1 good. I found my kids would enjoy more at ground level when younger. Now they like to watch from higher up.
