Is he a star, really, I didn't know that.
Thanks for pointing that out.

For me, it would be a simple swap of Hewett in, LOB out and Ed as sub

We can't possibly bring Martin straight back in.

I like the suggestion by another poster this week, play Martin for at least a few weeks in the reserves before considering him for senior selection. He's a good player but simply too much of a risk.

So I'm guessing Subs can play VFL the same weekend then.

I would

1. Keep Walsh on ice for at least another week (pencil him in for the Kangas game)
2. Hewett if available has to come in
3. Martin - NO. Ive lost all faith in him. Clearly has Calves made out of water. Besides that has had minimal impact in the small amount of games that he has played in (and that he has been fit for). Would suggest he is or should be on the trade list unless he makes some kind of phenomenal turnaround.

Walsh is still 2-3 weeks away. No chance for this game

Travel to Perth on newly laid turf and play the late Sunday game so if they are lucky they will get the 11 o'clock flight out to arrive in Sydney Monday morning.

There are zero excuses for us not to win this game

Exactly... Unless we start drinking our own bath water like previous seasons...

How we show up will say a lot about whether this team has progressed.

Go Blues

Any more would make the vibration excessive

Another good game in the 2s for Dow- and good to see his tackles. I reckon as much as I like Ed and as good as he might be, Dow is worth the shot. Dow has more potential, adds speed and is a much better field kick. Ed is back up or a tagger
And having Dow going forward from stoppages is more of a weapon.
So for me
In George, Dow
Out Lob, Ed
Could replace Cowan with plow (who dominated in the 2s) for Toby but Cow doing ok.

Was it Matt Flynn?

Or just someone Matt Flynnish?

Hi Doc - my use of "like water" wasn't meant to be taken as fact. That aside, Im interested in your opinion on where you think he is at and what should the club be doing with him?
