We trailed for most of the second quarter. Why do you people accept this mediocrity? Year after year we do this. Why don't you guys see that winning is all that matters. On the scoreboard. This is a real wake up call for us.

Sobering statistic: we haven't beaten a team that's not the reigning premiers since July 2022.

Sobering statistic: Geelong didn't score in the last 7 and a half minutes.

Am I doing this right?

It won't matter if we are winning.
I'm expecting a 100pt plus game in the next couple of weeks TBH.

why didn't we hit the post enough last night? are we skilled enough to make that happen? why weren't we tapping the ball more? we did it in the 70s and we won flags then.

To be fair, we did tap the ball quite a lot last night......and we won.

We have now won 2 of our last 8 games.

Great to get a win, albeit we did look like a mess for much of the last quarter before finally steadying late, and I am not sure why we keep protecting leads instead of putting games away.

Hopefully now with a stretch of 'easier' games coming up we can start stringing some wins together.

As mentioned in another thread, next week is a trap game.
If we are as genuinely good side we win next with with a decent lead at the end of the game.

You just keep posting negatively and I'll hope that we'll keep winning.

Feel free to block me

The sobering stat was it was a Thursday night game and normally after a game like that I’d have a few to celebrate but I had to work today.

So very sobering indeed.

We’ve been undefeated for the entire 2023 season so far.
