Geelong tired towards the end of the game. Collingwood ran all over them due to fitness. They will be better next week, just not sure how much. |

For us to win, we need to add run to support Cripps, Hewett and Kennedy. Acres and Ed don’t add the run we need. That is a real concern, especially when we recruit Acres for that role. Selections next week will be the key. |

Fisher hasn't gone to the next level. Been disappointing Martin has enormous talent but is a fair way off it right now. The injuries are already biting us. This group of players are like the remedial group of kids in school. The ones who take longer than the other kids to 'get it'. If Carlton were a school our players would be repeating the year where they teach how to change tact to slow the tempo, how to play keepings off down back to see out a win, and other situational football lessons. Some of the kids appear to have chronic learning problems and might have the repeat the year twice. |

If you read between the lines , Voss' messaging already this year has consistently hinted that the list isn't right yet. I suspect that's why they blooded 2 debutants in R1. Get games into them quickly if possible. |
