Sick of the same medium / small forwards . Just keep rotating new players through there until something clicks . Kemp , Honey , Dow rotating with Kennedy , anything .

Yes

Yes it is a weakness, it's Charlie and Harry, then daylight to another forward that can kick 30+ goals. SOS can't continue to ruck, he needs to make it as a forward or it's a bust. Hard for him to ruck and then become the leading up forward around the ground that we desperately need.

Surely they can't kick this straight next week.

The first shot they miss since Q1 ends up in a free kick, which misses, and a 50m which doesn't.

They’re so overrated - we will win if we bring pressure like last night but not if we give them 22 more inside 50’s

That was a pretty tough game tonight for Geelong. And we've got the extra day rest

Geelong by 110 points

Without there Chief the Indian file disintegrates very quickly . No Selwood , no Geelong . They are bleeding , and you know what Lethal said . Go for the throat , gang up on Danger .

Geelong tired towards the end of the game. Collingwood ran all over them due to fitness.
They will be better next week, just not sure how much.

For us to win, we need to add run to support Cripps, Hewett and Kennedy.
Acres and Ed don’t add the run we need. That is a real concern, especially when we recruit Acres for that role. Selections next week will be the key.

Tough….

but we need the speed…so fair enough…!

I’d like to see TDK as our 3rd tall forward for much
of the game…Charlie…Harry and Tommy would
have to be hard to combat…!

kindest regards tommi

Why the hate against Callan Beasy? He kicked three in the twos last week and is ready for a breakout

It won't be easy under Callan Beasy.

Hard to argue with this.

I'm not sure JSOS is going to work for us. We need to play 2 rucks.

Fisher hasn't gone to the next level. Been disappointing

Martin has enormous talent but is a fair way off it right now.

The injuries are already biting us. Martin and Owies and McGovern underdone and played like it. Durdin not ready yet.

Hawkins will kick the winning goal on the siren..another brave effort by Carlton falls short.

After we shw zero intent to score or win the game in the last 7 minutes. Rather go ultra defensive and hope like hell we can save the game.

Total opposite to Collingwood

This group of players are like the remedial group of kids in school. The ones who take longer than the other kids to 'get it'. If Carlton were a school our players would be repeating the year where they teach how to change tact to slow the tempo, how to play keepings off down back to see out a win, and other situational football lessons. Some of the kids appear to have chronic learning problems and might have the repeat the year twice.

If you read between the lines , Voss' messaging already this year has consistently hinted that the list isn't right yet. I suspect that's why they blooded 2 debutants in R1. Get games into them quickly if possible.
