Zac Fisher had one touch after qtr time. Zero touches in the second half. Zero tackles.
Thought Harry was good
Hewitt very good in first half.
L. Young good but may have gone a bit harder in that last contest where Lynch marked and goaled.
At times we looked like we would be run over but held up well.
That's a positive.
Plenty to like. Unfortunately LOB still lacks composure.
Gov gives me heart failure. He had an almost game

I can see why they picked the 2 kids

Bec they know there are so many mentally weak players on the list

There's nowhere to hide

It's genuinely hard to see this list going anywhere special

How was Saads weak as piss kick off the ground? He's supposed to be one of our best players. But then he does that. Gifts them a goal. In a low scoring game.

The lack of leadership at this club is incredible

Bunch of losers

It's the first game of the year. We looked scrappy, so did they. Long tough slog of a season & you just have to get up & go again.

We'll play better than that. Thought Lewis Young was great on Reiwoldt. Fisher started really well, then Rich must have tightened up on him because he seemed to fall away after qtr time.

Acres will be kicking himself but there were numerous big moments in the last. Shai Bolton missed an easy one with 7 min to go

Weird game, thought Tiges were the slightly better side overall so we'll take the 2 points, but then we had a big chance to win it but didn't.

Not too bad. Heaps to work on.

Shai Bolton's flopping/ducking is disgraceful.

I had an odd feeling it would be drawn early in the last.

Cowan and Hollands were better than Acres. He'd wanna be better next week.

Harry and Charlie were too quiet. Those two misses by Harry were bad.

It was a pretty shit game all round.

Most enjoyable bit of the night for me was him not getting a kick out of it. Last year that was three goals in the book

OK ok OK, anyone that is blaming Harry for that passage couldn't have been at the ground. He sprinted his guts out to get into space and LOB just kept running instead of passing.

Yeah I was quite happy to see that.

Surely it's time for Jack Riewoldt to retire?

Was it a mistake to not have both Pittonet and TDK against Nankervis?

A lot of our players today refused to put their head over the ball. Hand full of exceptions - Kennedy, Hewett, Young, Doc and Cerra. We were second to the ball all night and it was embarrassing. Very little foot speed, which was evident when the ball hit the ground and thank goodness O’B was playing last quarter. My greatest fears of players such as Acres, McGovern and Saad where on show tonight. Thank goodness it’s only round 1.

Pros? Cripps best on ground? TDK improvment?

Cripps quiet first three quarters (for his standards) then a big last qtr with 10 disposals and lots contested.

I won’t go so far as to lay blame with McKay. In fairness to LOB though (and I wasn’t at the ground) he laced McKay out. Maybe should’ve kicked it earlier, but if McKay didn’t fall over we wouldn’t be having this discussion.

Saying that, he still hit him on the hands, splitting three defenders. Maybe it's not always lochies fault.
