In your presser after the North game you claimed that you had a chat at half time about our mids not getting enough ball around the contest.

Why did it take half a game to have that chat, and how can your coaching group be more proactive in communicating such concerns as they arise?

Its a question Vossy probably askes himself.
Hence the recruitment of TWO WINGMEN over the summer.

The only thing I can think of is he can run from end to end when one is injured.

He's been Sub 3 weeks in a row because if a wing is injured he can fill that unique running role.

Other than that, he's really lost the plot this year.

It's the only reason I would have LOB as sub before Fisher. To fill worse case situation.
Not that Fisher cant fill the wing for a quarter or two, but LOB does run quicker from end to end and repeats it.
Forrest Gump like.

When Cottrell is back, he's my pick as the Specialist sub, and LOB is back as the senior player in the reserves.
I enjoyed listening to LOB in the team huddle at quarter and three qtr time in the resreves. He showed leadership and comeraderie.
Depth player.

Vossy aint going to persist with him for too much longer. I think LOB's 2 year contract ends this year.
He's not going to improve. He's been in the system for 6 years. What you see is what you get.

I would like to ask Vossy:

1. What are your thoughts on Brodie Kemp and do you see hiim getting a senior opportunity this season?

2. Same question, but for Paddy Dow.

Do you cauliflower ever practice goal kicking. Or does "best in the business" stop them kicking a bag of balls at the end of training because 'load management'

Why does our kick in strategy appear to be wait and let our opponents man up vs our opponents move it out fast to an unmanned player and are away and inside 50 with barely a contest on the way?

Why do you do the same thing, but expect a different result ?

Alternatively, what I struggle with is when we are having a shot at goal we do not setup for the possible point. I watch this closely and very rarely do we set up for the possible kick back in. We need to be prepared, so reactive. Players standing together, just walking around, there seems to be no strategy for the kick in.

Yeah, the lack of set up when a player is taking a set shot is partly why we get torched from the kick in.

this has a bit of the ratten game plan about it - give it to crippa / walshy, expect them to perform a miracle, expect charlie / harry to kick bags and we win - a bit of 'give it to the champ' about the game plan
