I haven't seen the list but apparently Robbo has Charlie Curnow at #1 and 2 Blues in the Top 4.
I assume the other player is Cripps.

Does anyone have have the article and list to share?

It is a big call having Charlie at 1. I happen to think Harry might be in for a big year.

Even if they plonk a play-from-behind ruckman in his workspace?

Cripps won a Brownlow Medal, and Charlie the Coleman.

I would have a fit Cripps as the number 1 player in the comp.

Charlie can be the number 1 forward.

Walsh should be much much higher. His numbers are fantastic, even if his slow start was only 32 possessions in round 2 last year

I reckon Robinson is gaslighting us - like he did in 2012 when he tipped us for the flag.

One hundred percent . Yobbo and Julian De Stoopid . Those pair love setting you up for a fall .

He can’t lose - if we win the flag (unlikely) he’ll say look at me I told you so - and if we don’t he’ll say what a huge disappointment we are

And his preference is the latter .

It is based on where he thinks the players will be at the end of the year.
However, I think it is a big leap to put Charlie no.1. But hopefully, it gives Charlie even more confidence.
Walsh should definitely be higher and Robbo stated as much in the blurb - just said his back injury has him concerned. Interestingly, Rozee was pretty high up - I reckon he is trolling Kane!
I also think it is plausible to have Charlie and Crippa v high up - no-one denies the high-end talent we have on our list. Questions remain about the lower level talent and the game plan so it is not unrealistic to have a solid bunch in the top 50 but still not make top 4. I don't think he is trolling us.

It is time we started playing with confidence. Not arrogance, but strong confidence that we can work harder, and better, for longer than any other team. And never ever give up.

Does anyone have the double page spread by-paying pay walls? Do we care?

I like all Carlton fans love Charlie but not sure he is the best player in the competition.
Kicked a total of 3 goals in the last 2 games we played.
Did look like was going to be the difference in the Collingwood game but didn't quite go on with it, making some crucial errors.
Maybe this year he will be the difference maker in clutch moments in big games. Could well be.
If that happens then Robbo's decision may well be justified.

I do applaud Robbo for at least not giving the no.1 mantle to a midfielder.

That's being very kind to him. I hope he's obsessed with atoning for that game.

And I hope the Robbo No.1 bullshit doesn't got to his head

Robbo is a controversialist not a journalist. He is paid to stir things up and that is what the top 50 is all about.

By the way, did I just invent a new word?

This is exactly what Robinson is trying to do.

Some of you guys are overthinking Robbo's "agenda"

The Coleman medallist who 18 months ago was almost lost to football and produced a season beyond expectation, can run like a midfielder, can kick the sh1t out of the ball and can leap for marks MAYBE, JUST MAYBE could be the best player come year's end (that's the criteria)

Do I agree with the pick? probably not

Is it really that far fetched? probably not

We know he’s not a journalist- but I thought he was an alcoholic.
