Training finished a few hours ago at Ikon

Nothing but good news.

There's an air of confidence and big numbers available.
Up tempo and testing session
Plenty returned from injury

Cottrell pulled up well but may be held back for more game time in ressies
Boyd moving well
Cowan moving well unhindered

Owies trained well and has put his hand up.
Marchbank running free and doing all the drills and ready for action. No calf issues.
Martin the same as Marchbank.
Cuningham the same as Marchbank.

Motlop back from suspension moving well.

Out Injured:

Williams season
Philp season
S. Durdin. Hamstring
TDK concussion protocol

Is that the best injury list we have seen since round 1 or what!!! That's not a question.
Pressure on spots after a 100 point win.

This would have to be the most frightening post of the year so far.

I’m off to re-paint the runes on the walls of the worry room. Should probably run a ring of salt around the place as well.

This is the biggest positive we have had in 12 months. Makes an enormous difference

That on top of Docherty's 150th game. Hard to think of anyone who deserves it more

I wasn't there but heard from someone who was there who also spoke to a coupla engaging players. It's just such a good story to share. Players thread.

You're asking for announcements no one knows for sure, but whether they are named available or not, its good news, the previously out injured with a calf were all training well with team. and Owies hammy is a test. All normal like. I'm guessing Farmer's on the money with this week's teams except for where he thinks Honey & Fisher should play.

Im not sure about Sam Durdin, but he wasnt seen and so no know.

Good to hear Owies is back this week. Personally, I'd play him in the seniors ahead of Honey. Was just about in career best form to start the season. 3 goals and very good against Cats and started really well following week against Giants before doing his hammy.
A little disappointing but far from surprising re Marchy, Martin and DC. TDK back next week.

BT is on his own.

Here's what Champion Data said yesterday

Quote:
“Carlton is also missing Zac Williams, who was elite by foot last season.”

We miss Williams more than BT will ever know. He's a star. Just look at how good we were and what he did to lift us when he returned for the last 2 rounds last year vs Dees and Pies.

Pity we wont see Williams this year. Bad luck for him if he misses, Finals, Grand Final and Flag. Anything can happen if we have all of our other best 23 players available in Spring.

Massive loss. Was so fit and looked great. At his best is an A grade talent. Williams with Saad Newman Weitering McGovern is an elite defence and allows Doc full time mid
