It's more that some of what is in the club's injury report is , how shall I put it, they've been very selective in their wording lol

But really we should expect this. They are never going to provide all the info. That is Intel they don't want the opposition to know. I don't know if they care about freaking the fans out. Maybe that is a consideration. Who knows.

For example, let's say there is a player who has recently had some injury concerns and now is getting scans and the club have chosen to leave that bit out of the injury report.

whats the info?

cerra misses the season? doc maybe too?
That Cerra rumour has been knocked on the head.
Hopeful Cerra plays against G-Dub, but he eill definitely be back for finals.
Also I think Paddy is saying that he thinks Walsh WILL play this week.
Is that right Paddy?
That's what I was told

But my source is not Russell or Voss !

My whole point is that there are always going to be some bad news that isn't revealed too early

Which we all know from common sense

So not sure I'm giving the TC community much interesting info

But yeah there's an important player who is getting scans
As they do to see how the injury is healing, or if it has healed. It's normal to have scans throughout an injury.

I'm guessing Weitering. He lookd like he pulled up quite sore from a marking contest on the weekend. Seemed ok after that but I was worried at the time.
The two players I would NOT want any injuries to are Charlie and Weitering.

Told that because Cerra was a "re occurance" they are being extra careful even though it was minor. Too valuable

With the GWS game not until Sunday week 6pm that is another 8 day break so he will be cherry ripe by then as should Walsh

Crusader (Shoulder) TBC

Experienced a minor subluxation in a fist-pumping incident on the final siren. Will be sent for scans during the week as a precaution.

Any news on a possible injury to Silvagni in the VFL match?

I've been wondering the same. Only seemed to play a quarter by the stats sheet.

Or I wonder if someone was iffy in the seniors and he was pulled out of the game early as an emergency?

Hopefully he was just being managed.

Carlton fan favourite Jack Silvagni has re-injured his knee and will miss the Blues’ last home and away match this week, in a setback to his hopes of playing in the finals.

The Blues will learn the severity of the injury on Tuesday but have already ruled him for Sunday night’s game against Greater Western Sydney.

Silvagni has had scans on his knee after hurting himself in the VFL against Gold Coast on Saturday, his first game back after spraining the joint against West Coast four weeks ago.

I knew he looked rusty and out of sorts with his disposal. There had to be something wrong and no way looking in line for a call up.

When you doubted what I could tell from less the a half of footy, I said, I wasn't seeing things and only posted what I saw and couldn't unsee the obvious.

His form was that obvious to me. Sorry about the bad news.
