I'd take Markov. 26 and has had a pre season and an obvious replacement for Williams

Cincotta was impressive in game I saw last year but has he the game to step up? I don't know. Other concern would be his fitness levels. Never been in AFL system and hasn't had a pre season, that's a big call

I would also have no issue if we picked no one and waited until mid year. We have Cowan, Plowman, Hollands, Honey, Cuningham, Cottrell that can fill the roll and it's only one spot

I’m leaning towards Markov - he might have a touch of the Ron DeIulio ‘headless chook’ about him - but he is a safer bet than Cincotta, who I am a fan of but I’m unsure about his ability to step up to the next level. There’s a Josh DeLuca vibe about AC. The best argument in favour of AC is that he has been in our VFL program for a couple of years and knows our system.

I don’t think dollars will come into it unless another club is interested in Markov. Collingwood went another way, so he’s not in a strong bargaining position - unless he’s willing to back himself to be picked mid season and play VFL in the meantime as a non-listed.

Ron Delulio ? what about a bit of " Crazy Horse " Gary Cowton about him . I actually think Markov is a better player than people give him credit for . Reckon if given a chance he will aquitt himself very well . Vossy is crying out for outside run and carry and that is exactly what Markov delivers . He tends to over commit which is the knock on him from what i have been told . Just runs too far when he needs to do a UTurn and get back . Over attacking you might say . Reckon they could sort that out very easily and he could be a very handy player ...................i am like you " Sue " in that i like Cincotta lot but there is that lingering doubt whether he can step up . I think he could myself but a kid overlooked in the draft may be a better bet .

If he is happy to take one year its freakshow markov all day. Cincotta won't be going anywhere and you can bring him in once the inevitable long term injury occurs to taser face.
