I personally think if Walsh and Cerra come back, and we don't suffer any ore notable injuries, we can actually go quite deep.

We have a good game plan now, and the players are on a high which is producing consistent high effort.

I think if Walsh and Cerra get back we will have potentially the best midfield of all finals sides. Cerra has been in our top 2 or 3 players all year, and Walsh was hitting seriously good form before he got injured. So I just think adding 2 absolute guns to the midfield is a very significant thing.

McLovin back would be a plus also.

I think the big question mark is over whether Harry and/or SOS come back into the team. While Harry is a more proven forward than TDK, I do think we are best placed with 2 real rucks rather than 1 ruck and SOS as relief, and I also worry Harry will be short of a gallop and it might be risky messing with a set up that is working quite well. When I say 'working quite well' I talk about the ratio of tall forwards to smaller pressure forwards and how pressure is underpinning our game plan, and also about whether having another 200cm player would muck up the balance.

I do though reside in the camp that feels Harry would help Charlie. It would mean Charlie is double teamed a lot less. It is one thing to beat the pants off WC but against the better sides Charlie has found the going tougher (his 6 goals against Coll were assisted to a degree by frees - granted they were there).

But then SOS in could potentially do the same. And I liked what I saw in terms of the chemistry between Charlie and SOS in the WC game (albeit it was WC).

The irony is this was always a question mark leading into the season. How would we fit all the talls in the team? Well now the stakes are raised because if we mess with it and if backfires the consequences could be disastrous.

My gut feel is we need to bring one in. I think if we lose a tall right now we will be in strife. If a ruck goes down then we only have 1 ruck with no relief. And Charlie then has no help other than Martin.

Another option is a tall become Sub. But gee I think having a runner in reserve is important.

We are all pretty stiff at the moment, so provided we can keep it hard, we can go very deep.

We can definitely get into Prelim and then anything can happen.

Questions for me are how do we integrate players coming back and what is our best side. If we can stay fit we can beat anyone and momentum means a lot

Two biggest threats for me are Pies & Demons. Lions & Port I don't rate out of their home states

Yeah but we will most likely have to play one or both of them at their home dung heaps

Imagine if we finally broke our AO hoodoo beating Port there in a final.

It doesn't matter how the cookies crumble we are going interstate to play a final.
The only way we can avoid it is if Melbourne lose their last two games and we finish 4th

One of the last hoodos for us to break is beating the Lions up there

They look mentally piss weak to me

How far can we go?

Well, I'd say to the Granny.

Beyond that, who knows.

It's probably a week too early to use the D word.
I mean, we now have depth, and 'durance so no,
not those 'd' words.
The other one.
There were two classic tv soaps around in the 80's
Two D word soaps.
One of those words apply.
And I don't mean Dallas.

I have been saying it for weeks.

This team will not lose another game.

End of story.
