Same. Today helped. This whole finals series has.

Couldn't have asked for it better after we got knocked out

Was just saying that to my husband. Like the footy gods finally turned.

Like some of you I am finally feeling so much better.
During the week I was talking to another Carlton supporter and we said the ideal scenario this weekend would either be Collingwood getting smashed or them being beaten by less than a goal. We decided losing by less than a goal would be the best outcome.
And well done CK.

It's like a huge burden has been lifted from our shoulders.

Couldn’t believe how nervous I was during yesterday’s game. Made no sense as it was a non Carlton game.

However, when it comes to Collingwood missing out on a grand final by a point, it made complete sense.

For me, the fact we are still the club with the most premierships after such a poor twenty years is a driving factor in my passion for other teams like Collingwood and Essendon* to lose.

Had a smartarse Essendon*** supporter tell me that he barracked for Collingwood for the first time because Cripps shouldn't have got off.
Well, Essendon*** should have been stripped of the 1993 premiership. Wished I had thought to say it back to them at the time.
Still feeling sad.

He should just worry about the sorry state of his own pissfart excuse of a club.
