They just keep doing it to us, they just break our hearts time and time again. Kicked 0.6. in the last. At three quarter time my wife said they're going to win. I replied, "I'll relax when we're 24 points up with a minute to go. Not 24 points up at three quarter time."

When Doc kicked out on full, I jumped off the couch screaming "anything, anything but that"! I knew then we'd lose. Then Durdin; oh my god. Some of those shots for goal....

I kept thinking, "surely they aren't going to throw another one away. Surely they aren't going to break our hearts again". Silly me. Of course they will.

Yeah I know….we shoulda coulda….and lack of smarts at the end but we wouldn’t be in that position if umpires didn’t cheat

We're second to the bulldogs when it comes to free kick differential

Meanwhile... Charlie marks 30 out with a relatively easy shot to put us 30 points up in the last qtr... rushes and misses badly... had a very bad feeling after that

Lack of composure and stupidity cost us big time

The look on Doc and Cripps' faces at a centre bounce after yet another Coll goal. They looked spiritless. They looked defeated already. Zero leadership.

Why go to the pocket when any score gets us through.

My thought exactly.

I CANNOT BELIEVE, FOR ONE MINUTE, WE HAVE PEOPLE ON THIS SITE WHO WERE ACTUALLY HOPING FOR CARLTON TO LOSE TODAY.

People wanting us not to make the finals, at the same time wanting Collingwood to have a double chance.

And deeper into the qtr had Harry free in the square but decides to snap another behind. Than that stupid kick inside 50 with a few minutes to go. Hopefully somebody gets a hold of him in the pre season and teaches him some flower breathing techniques. Calm down. Breath. Think. Breath. @#$%&! it

Gutted.
Getting to a winning position is great, but don’t know how to put the foot down, nor composure………top of Christmas list please.
Gutted.

Still 100% Carlton.

And what about the lack of run late. Nobody presenting for a lead up mark. Lazy or unfit?

Nah, it's not wanting the responsibility. Scared if they present they might stuff it up, so stay put.

They were both awesome. Cripps was flower huge. Almost got us home on his own. He was probably BOG.

In fairness Durdin hasn't been very good for much of the year. For a small forward he misses a lot of shot's on goal.

We are singling a young bloke out but in the context of the game m that has got to go close to one of the worst kicks in afl history

Yeah it’s a bit of a lot of things

Lack of focus on the point needed in the end was missing.

I had a bad feeling after Charlie rushed that over confident kick, says a lot of what I don’t want to say.

I just got off the train at Caulfield.
The sombre feeling of the supporters is overwhelming. :(
