Tough to cut 4 from that bench

Agreed!

Assuming all that are named are fit to play, my gut feel is that those cut will be:

- Motlop
- O'Brien
- Newnes
- De Koning

Hewett and Williams are no brainers if fit. Setterfield and Stocker surely can't be dropped after last week's efforts.

We need as much maturity and hardness as we can get.

I reckon Stocker will be cut.

Agree, reckon Saad will miss too.

Out Motlop, Stocker

I still find it hard to believe someone was serious about possible selection of Hewett early this week on TC.

I cant remember if I posted anything, but I'm still gobsmacked both Williams and Hewett are selected.

Have to wait for 5pm tomorrow.

If Hewett and Williams are fit:

Setters Cottrell Motlop Stocker ...TDK...I dont know.

On last weeks form I'd drop Newnes and LOB

I have another thought, I’d be tempted to play Stocker and if things are going bad I’d tell him to push the envelope. Run through a couple of players , Ginnivan and Sidebottom to start with. They’ve got finals to play next fortnight, they’re not going to retaliate or risk injury

That's what is being played here. Reckon some unfit players there. But which?

My thoughts exactly. I hope Vossy isn't being too clever by half.
I can't get 'Mind games' out of my head. :smoking:

Id be really surprised if Hewitt plays. Heard he still looked restricted at training. So Setterfield plays. Hard to see Williams playing after so long but if he does then Stocker gets dropped especially if we want Williams playing in the finals. So my take is:
TDK
Setterfield
Williams
LOB/Newnes

Drop 2 of our 3 players that have played wing all year.............big call.

I just watched him on the Front Bar.
Seems like he is a good bloke but I hope we wipe the smile off his face on Sunday.
It was reported tonight that tickets have been advertised for sale for over $400 a ticket. You would be pretty silly to pay that for a home and away match.

That was me

I only said that bec he has trained 2 weeks now so in theory he is fit

Look Voss has pulled out the big guns. Question is will they fire.

And yes of course they might not all play anyhow

I am starting to think the injuries are going to get us in the end

Playing havoc with selections

And form

I think Pies ought to be favourites

We need to play at our best to win because if we don't the Pies will burn us with their aggressive game style

Needs to be a watershed game and I'm not confident that will happen sadly.

Based on last week's form, who will Setterfield tag?

My thoughts are Pendlebury or Sidebottom. Two old experienced heads who make things happen.

Oh, no absolutely I'reckon he seems a nice bloke and he certainly has his players playing for him.

It's just been a bit much this week, seems he's done more media than a bloke coaching his 500th game

He's only 3 in front of Cameron and they have West Coast at GMHBA.
I reckon they'll be feeding him the goals too.

I just as much assume he misses Coleman and Blues miss finals.

Cameron is out injured i think. Charlie is seven goals in front of Hawkins.

I’m feeling pretty confident about this week,

Yeah our midfield is depleted but if our effort is on similar to sat night then it’s on!
Was really impressed with Setters game he stepped up and played. On form the only player I think
We are really missing from midfield is Hewitt. Cerra and Kennedy weren’t exactly tearing it up before their injury

Hewitt listed in the squad.

Hard to believe Saad will get up. Williams and Hewett would be a big risk. Carringbush are a fairly quick side, we don't need underdone players who can't run out the game.

he’s already written his Blues 2022 obituary by the sound of it. i think he’s called us chokers once before during this season (or maybe it was Essendon*?). seems to hate us with a capital H does cornes. he’s a walking clickbait magnet.
