He did but most in first half and overwhelming majority handballs. And only 1 tackle.
Also, papers appear stamped.

Don't get me wrong I am not a Dow fan but he does seem to be next in line

No way I'd play Carroll. He tapered off after just 1 game earlier in the year. Kid isnt close to ready for finals type footy.

Not that Dow is much better but he is next in line.

Suspect Cerra comes in but if not they'll go with the same side as last night.

Dow is next in line ... as a handballer.

Hayes 31 and 8 tackles 5 clearances

Carroll plays timid these days

Weiterings form is my biggest concern.

I believe Pitto is building his game fitness, and stood up to Gawn and Jackson, but rucking on his own wore him out by the last.

Ginnivan out would at least make failure 25% less infuriating

Yep, we are scraping the bottom of the barrel....Dow, Hayes 30 odd possessions each, then Carroll...average with 20 odd.

Like Dow, Hayes got a lot of possessions but wasn't playing with the spirit and style of a player banging the door down imo.

Kemp's awareness is questionable at VFL level for me. He had a huge 8 disposals.

Sure he takes the game on, but geez he gets caught most of the time. When he doesn't get caught his desperate disposal usually ends a turnover.

IMO Kemp isnt AFL standard yet.

I think Kemp and Motlop are similar, in that the greatest strengths of their game aren’t suited to VFL.

There are too many boring plodders in the VFL, otherwise they’d come past for a handball.

How is Pitto’s performance being overlooked? He was beyond pathetic. Couldn’t get near the ball all night and just watched as Gawn ripped us a new one.

IN: TDK, Cerra
OUT: Pittonet, Newnes

Also whatever the @#$%&! is wrong with Weitering is a major concern. Right now he’s lucky he’s got Young there to hold the defence together

For what it is worth, Collingwood looked tired against the Swans.

So does anyone know much about hip flexor injuries i.e. will DeGoey play this week?

DeGoey has to look after his hip flexor if he to flourish during finals.
I'd advise him not to return this season.
That way I don't have to see his face and Tatts.

Carlton's Elimination Final.
Pies playing for 4th spot, but guaranteed Finals.

IN: Cerra & Newman
OUT: Newnes & Setterfield.

Pies missing-

Ginnivin
DeGoey
Adams
Grundy

Carlton missing-

Hewett
Kennedy
Williams
Boyd
McDonald
Cuningham
Ed Curnow
Jones is another story

We've still got a strong team.
Bottom 6 showed intent last week for 4 quarters
Bring the same form and we can roll the Pies.

Wouldn't be dropping Setterfield after his effort last night. Drop LOB for Cerra instead.

Why are dropping Setterfield Bondi? We need to keep exploring the role he played on the weekend. Mind you we all said he was better playing midfield but tagging makes things very, very exciting for the future.
