Harry took a few short steps trying not to take that mark running back towards goal

Pretty good first half, that last goal should not have happened.
Crap umpiring, is there a new rule that Walsh has to be penalised whenever he is tackled?
At least we are having a go.

Melbourne have been known to fade out in the second half.

10. Maybe get those eyes checked. Or that memory!

The tackling free kick he gave away was worth -9, though.

Fritsch marked it anyway... roll it back 10 seconds that goal is all on Crippa unfortunately. Terrible turnover by foot

Yep... he burned us a minute prior when he auditioned for boundary umpire

Pitto getting well beaten. We need him to break even in the second half if we are a chance to win.

Impressed with the effort

Tackling has been good

However, can’t see us kicking a winning score

We lack execution going forward

Crippa needs to pull his finger out as Captain. Curnow having a mare as well. And tell me again why Martin is in this team.

We are working our butts off but forward line letting us down.

If only McKay and Curnow can get in this game and look dangerous, we may be in with a chance.

Can we keep this pressure up ????? That’s the thing.

Umps killing us as per usual. Cheats !!

Having a go but very inefficient going forward

Really dumb by Newnes with the downfield gifted them a red time goal

Little blokes need to get to the fall of the ball particularly in the forward line

Charlie needs to get into the game

Melbourne leading inside 50's 32 to 20. We have been gallant but need to find another gear.
Our back 6 has been very good and it's pleasing to see Setterfield play with intensity.

So does Melbourne, and that's Kudos to our backline pressure.

That last brain snap kick from Cripps in the last 20 seconds of the second kills.

Stop stupid decisions like that, and we are more than a chance to win this...

At the game. I thought Martin was having a decent crack TbH. In the first quarter he had 3 really good efforts on the members wing after dropping a contested mark.

Hate to say but I just feel like the Dees are gonna go bang at some point and put on 3 or 4 in a heart beat and it'll be game over. Can't fault the effort but lacking the polish at the moment

Agreed. But looks rusty. Has had a stop start stop start season and it's showing.

I thought Newnes was hard done by... Even ch7 comms had their doubts... Was trying to pull out and pretty much stationary when the players collided. Not sure how his stats look but I reckon Newnes had a decent half, he's got good strength for a scrappy game.
