If we miss finals after being 8-2, this team is just finding new ways to hurt its supporters... I fear it may be the case though

We can always use the lack of experience as an easy excuse

Sunday will be officially called as season end for us. Weak as piss last 10 weeks. We don't even deserve to be making up the numbers

It's kinda interesting to see this year how the COVID bubble worked well for them last year.

They both looked amazing last night. I was thinking along the same lines, but every game is different...and every week we are different to the previous week since the bye.

Last night is now in the past.

One week at a time.

What should have been a big year for Carlton is turning into a big year for Collingwood!

Not for me it's not.
Depends on your take. We have gone forward in leaps from last year.
I don't give a rats tooth what any other team does. GO BLUES!

If we lose our last 4, 3 of them against teams we'd likely be playing in the finals, then we don't deserve to be there and it's a reflection on whether we're good enough.

Not the draw, or unlucky results or anything else. I'm OK with that.

I don't think we've shown anything thus far that shows us becoming that bad in the space of a month.

We have shown plenty in the past decade to show we don't want it enough.

We'll learn a lot these next 3 weeks if we're prepared to.

The most disappointing thing is we WERE playing exciting football for the first half of the year. We were opening teams up like a can of sardines but the last few weeks when ironically we have got a lot of our players back we have become very stodgy, our ball movement is terrible and our pressure has really dropped off.
Where is the team that made Sydney look slow and clumsy in that second quarter or outplayed Freo when they were riding high?

Really torn between a broken watch being right twice a day, and putting money on the Lions 60+ after reading this.

Indeed, where is the team that crushed Melbourne and Richmond at the start of the year?

Pressure and work rate has always been a key to successful teams but I have never seen it so influential in results as it has this year. Last night was an example. For us when we work hard we win.

I feel as though we have dropped away from this in recent weeks. Get it back and we can beat anyone

Still haven't lost consecutive games all season but the rubber sheets brigade have written off the last four already.
