What is consistently disappointing is our big men getting their hands on marks and then spilling them. The double grabbing by Youngy TDK and Harry are beyond frustrating.

Having said that Harry and Charlie are constantly man handled off the ball before it gets anywhere near them, with no love from the Umps.

A couple of selfish efforts from Crippa didn't help my mood today. :banghead:

Charlie and Garry literally only got about 2 in 10 of legitimate free kicks today - Charlie was consistently held and shepherded out of marking contests and if Harry wasn’t arm chopped in 90% of marking contests I’ll go he.

It was a disgrace.

Our delivery to them is often slightly off. It forces them to try and juggle which is easier for a defender to spoil.

Very disjointed & lacking in intensity in the first half but a bit more fun to watch in the second. I thought the crowd really lifted when weitering & walsh came back on, which seemed to spur the boys on.

Durdin's goal was superb, against the trend of a pretty quiet game from him.

In the midfield our offensive handball inside the square isn't a patch on what it was early in the year. Really need Pitto back.

Young's dropped mark on the wing in the first half I thought he was a bit unlucky not to get paid.

Surprised at the lack of praise for Mcgovern, thought it was an excellent return to the side by him.

Our small fwds and mids keep letting us down (apart from Walsh)

This has been our problem for the last 10 weeks. period.

Whether its because of the gameplan or because of them, IDGAF...fix it and fix it quickly...we have a GF to win in 9 weeks (if they can fix it)!!!

P Cripps

34 disposals, game high (13 kicks, 21 handballs)

6 marks

4 tackles

4 clearances

1 goal 2

465 metres gained (second to Saad)

Yes he made mistakes, yes he can play better, but people are making out that he was one of our worst. @#$%&! relax people and get some perspective.

Cripps was labouring at times today and he made a few blues, but the criticism of him is a little OTT. I’m tipping he will get coaches votes.

The W L W sequence continues.

But will hopefully end this week!

And the mistakes he makes are the ones he's been making for a couple of years now...not bringing team mates into the game who are in a better position. He is a leader. It's leadership 101 to empower and trust those around you and LEAD, not MICRO MANAGE and want control over every play he is involved in

Something significant that I believe is being underplayed. When Walsh went down looking like a serious injury and then Weitering not long after, it had absolute disaster vibes all over it. Like the footy gods were intervening and it was all going to unravel. Not just the game but our season too.

Goes without saying we sure deserve some luck. For both to come back and Walsh in particular lead us out of trouble and to victory is monumental for mine. Reckon it’s a major positive turning point.

Walsh was brilliant when he came back on....

Adrenalin must have been pumping... He won two freakish contests that resulted in goals... Crowd was going nuts

Saad best on ground... and that mark as well

I agree about the shepherding . If you hand ball it off to a team mate running by, it is not difficult to step in behind them to block the chaser.
If you are at the game....
and you're near an old bloke that screams "BLOCK FFS"... about 4 times a game...then...

come over and say hi...

And the worst non-decision of the year, goes to the push in the back on Kennedy after taking a mark close to the boundary line on the outer wing, which resulted in him sliding head first in to the fence - how on earth that wasn't called a 50m penalty, I will never know. Nathan Williamson would have been proud...
