Another big game.

Hoping Walsh is fit.

Cripps looks banged up and struggling, I’d like to see him rested for a week to get him in the best position to really impact the finals series.

Durdin and Motlop lucky that there’s no one obvious to replace them with, need Owies to put some pressure on that small fwd spot.

Assuming Walsh & Weitering pull up OK and that there’s no other new injuries-

In: Dow (sub), Hewitt, Owies, Pittonet
Out: Honey, Motlop, Newnes, SOJ

SOJ needs a week off to freshen up.

Honey holds his spot if Owies doesn’t come up. If Hewitt isn’t ready to return, then Dow into the 22.

Let Marchbank get another VFL game under his belt. Hopefully Martin is ready to play VFL next weekend too.

Owies will need to come back via VFL after this long

He’s missed 5 games, so you might be right. But if he’s been able to get a reasonable amount of training in, I’d look seriously at bringing him straight back. We need he & Durdin to rediscover the chemistry they had earlier in the season ASAP.

No offence to Honey & Motlop - they are kids and have a go - but I think the forward line gelled better when Owies was in the team.

Whether Hewitt comes back or not, Cripps should be rested and Dow gets a game.

I'd prefer we get to 13 and then see who needs "managing"

Not having to play ruck would be as good as a week off for Jack. He might even get rid of that goal post padding on his leg.

I'd like to see him managed for this game... there's something going on with him

We should be able to handle the Crows without Cripps...

Why do people keep saying this? He ran hard and looked good today. Running freely. Make finals and we get a week off anyway. I think it's more important to get Pittonet in and see how the taller line up will work

No managing players please. If they are fit and put their hand up to play then pick them. Best team available to make sure we win.

I'd be concerned for Owies and Martin that it seems they have been "test" multiple times but have not even played VFL so presumably failed tests. Therefore there's a degree of doubt and I'd like to see them get through a game at lower level first

I should reserve judgment until I watch the replay, but at the ground I didn’t think he played that well. With Pittonet returning, someone needs to make way. I figure it’s a choice between SOJ & TDK. Whichever one makes way, I wouldn’t play him in the VFL - I would give him a week’s rest after a pretty gruelling couple of months.

Honey hasn't done enough to warrant selection and Motlop is borderline.
Durdin had and ordinary few weeks

I would bring in Pitto and drop one of the three
JSOS can chase and harass just as good as them.

If Hewitt fit straight back in

Next few rounds Pitto Dow Marchbank Owies Martin all pushing for selection.

We cant rest players now, until we are sure we will stay in the 8. If and when this happens, then we can rest players. Need to win at least one more game unless we are relying on other results - which we dont want.

We get Pitto in and JSOS can rest in the forward line. In terms of Cripps, geez this guy needs to stop trying to do too much. He thinks he has to be the hero every time. 30 possessions does not reflect how poor he was today.
