I think a lot of ad revenue has been lost because of tapa talk...

I hate using slack for work, there’s no hierarchy and so difficult to find anything.

We've been with the same company since the Jarusa / The Yes Man days. It was called servint but was bought out by Leaseweb. The price has increased a bit over that time but the Aussie Dollar has made it worse lately.

I'll see if there is an aussie web host that we could use.

TC wouldn't do huge traffic so there's probably better suited plans

Mine hasn't done as well as I'd hoped.

And VentraIP are good, cheap and excellent service, been with them for years.

I hate TapaTalk.

Definitely is one of the reasons, as ad revenue goes to them.

I'm useless with technology. (I still don't know how to post pictures! )

But I'm happy to help financially where required.

   I have the same problem with pics.

Mine is from slackness and entertainment, not opportunity.

I had a lot of Assistants to help me, when I was in Telco ... you know generally speaking, other than the technocrats, Directors and Management have NFI.

That doesn't sound like something we should encourage.

Blame Sydney Blue.

Good idea to drop at least one.

I can offer no technical expertise in any way, but if there is fund raiser, you can count me in. Hopefully those in the know can find a viable long term solution.

you mean the channels can’t be collected into groups? you could possibly use tags to do that, not sure would have to look. also you only subscribe to the channels you want to. not sure if you’d make a new channel for each game pre- during- and post- game thread or one channel for each game or one channel for next game that keeps rolling over. it’s a completely different mind set and i sometimes struggle with Slack too. i do like BB type structures too for that reason.

i don’t see that as a major down side for TC, but i don’t really follow many threads except for the pre- and post- game discussions and anything else that is a top five thread.
