Epic fail

Panicky, Rushed, Fumbly, Slow , Indecisive, Mistake riddled football against a bunch of kissed on the dick umpires pets.

Frustrating as hell.

If there was a mistake to be made, we made it. Any chance of not playing the ball back into trouble? or taking the first option?

If there was a 50/50 ball that could bounce Geelong's way... it did.

If there was a 50/50 umpires call to be made... Geelong got it.

If Nafan Cheat Williamson was in the vicinity and he could @#$%&! us... he did.

I hate Geelong

A @#$%&! men.

Wow, what an opportunity lost.

At least we will make finals, but @#$%&! me.

Top 4 is gone. Let's just focus on who we can/may beat.

That was a truly miserable night at the footy.

Our top end of players is impressive
Our bottom end is not good enough
Cotterill, Hayes and Newnes were nowhere near it tonight. Not much upside with those three.

Our top players were terrible tonight though.

Some of our top end players tonight were awful too. In fact most of our players were.

As the brutal competitor our coach was, I’d suggest he would be horrified with what he saw tonight.

Tackling was piss weak. Every time we had them pinged they managed to get the handball out

Durdin went at 33% and butchered some huge chances

Badly beaten through the middle - clearances especially.

Lots of poor use and turnovers and failed to kill the ball in situations that allowed scores…at least 2-3 goals like this.

Geelong organised and cohesive though.

Anyone got the team age stats? I’m sure they are one of the oldest and we will be one of the youngest teams on the park. We will hopefully go to school on this and adjust. Move on - we need to win next up.

Does it count as an intercept when the ball is kicked 'lace-out' to the defender? :banghead:
So frustrating the way we did that so many times.

I think he has been average for a number of games

He is young so can only improve

However, our reliance on Charlie and Harry to score won’t stand up in pressure games like tonight

Really need a player like Martin to step up as he is a point of difference. However, is as soft as butter.

Not saying it wasn't a bad performance but let's not throw the baby out with the bath water. Whilst I thought and still think if we get everyone back we are a chance of winning it all, it is still a slim chance.
This was our first massive test in a finals type environment. Geelong have been around the block many times. They are battle hardened.
Tonight was a good opportunity to see who could stand up and who can't. We have a couple more big games before finals to see who had learnt from tonight and who won't take us forward.
This is the first step. Vossy would have learnt a lot more about our players tonight and we'll be better for it.

We were spOOked all night by their bigger bodies and pressure which forced us to make so many errors

This was finals like pressure and we failed miserably... if we don't learn from tonight then we're just making up the numbers

This guy doesn't even attempt to be fair when it's our game and the other umpires end up following suit.
