If it's Fisher Dow Cottrell plus one then surely it's Plowman.

I agree. Stocker as the 7th defender as he definitely was better than most of the other backs.

I'll tell you what McKay had want to pull his finger out.,
He has been terrible the last 2 weeks.
I know he kicked 5 against WC but that was against WC and his first half was terrible, as was his entire game against Geel.
Yes delivery was poor but he was also toweled by DeKoning who read the flight of the ball better than he did.
Several things are frustrating me about Mckay...

1. He isn't holding marks. Granted some of these are tough but at the end of the day the best key forwards hold those sorts of chances. Many times of late he has been on the lead and dropped marks. Yes they are sharp leads and sharp kicks but he needs to do better bec the best forwards catch these more times than he does. And in one one ones he is being pushed aside too easily. He is a monster of a man but he isn't being tough enough in contests right now.
2. From 50m out he is hopeless. Can't kick across the body that far and his drop punt is no better.
3. He isn't working hard enough in contests when the ball isn't delivered on a silver platter. The ball won't always come in how you like it and big forwards need to fight for their wins and he isn't fighting near enough right now.

Weitering also needs to lift.
I know it is tough missing games and having to find the touch and rhythm again with your fellow backs but his first 2 games back have been terrible. Twice against Geel he was nowhere near his man Tom and that equated to 2 goals. Just terrible. And then he and Young together fluffed a chanced to mark near the boundary. Weiters looks like he is stoned out there. Fkn lift Jacob. You're a VC FFS.

Spot on :clap:

did you notice McKay did a lot of media that week? it’s happened a few times our younger players get a pump up in the media and then put in a shocker that weekend.

Nah, I think it will be Stocker.

Haynes => LOB
Hewett => Dow
Newnes => Setterfield
Plow => Gov

Plow as the sub? Or Newnes?

Yeah, fair call. In that case I'd make Plow the sub. You gotta legislate for Gov's hammies.

Agree. It's going to be a while before we can have faith in Gov's body...

Absolutely! He is looking in great nick.

Hopefully his durability has improved as a result.

Fair enough. I thought Stocker was poor last week. Hewett inj, Hayes susp, Newnes dropped.

Plowman lucky, Dow unlucky, Honey gets another chance. Nice to see Setterfield in. It's a good side

With Pittonet Marchbank Hewett Martin Owies all available next week some players have this week to step up

Baffling selections

I thought we were past Setterfield

Dow and Stocker should be playing this week

There is little run in that midfield.

Yeah this is a weird side, I don't like it.

Then again, so many players were crap last week you could drop most of them.

Hewett out means Fisher Cerra Walsh will probably have more midfield time. Certainly doesn’t limit run

Mm strange selections... Certainly not like for like as we have had most of the year...
Fish into the middle with Honey playing his role?
Setters into the Hewett role?
Gov for Stocker, I get.... That means Plow definitely to Toby...
Glad I'm on level 3 now . ... Keep an eye on the strategies more than the direct play :)

BTW

What does Dow have to do?
