Comforting to think that we haven't dropped out of the 8 all season. Would be extremely unusual for it to happen now.

We are averaging 75.67 points against. Excluding the shortened matches of 2020, this is our best defensive average since the 1960s.

Can we get KPMG to check those stats?

I agree this is likely.

The WLWL... trend is terribly annoying though.
If we can't beat Adel this weekend and stop the trend that'll be very frustrating.
And it'll likely suddenly put us behind the 8 ball.

Many games of late I can sort of foresee reason the opposition might come out swinging.
Saints were always likely to respond.
Even GWS last weekend, they'd put in 2 stinkers in a row so I wasn't that surprised they came to play.
I am not sure the Crows will be 110% motivated this weekend. All things considered. So IMO if we don't have a good start it'll be very frustrating.

I think our leaders need to do just that and lead.

King I think it was made a good point you don't just flick the switch in finals, you need to have a build up of good form leading into the finals. He used the runway metaphor.

Well Carlton had want to start flying soon I reckon.

Weren't the bulldogs very average leading into last year's finals?

We will win every game remaining.

That's my bold take.

Honestly I don't remember but there will always be exceptions to the rule

You'd want form going into finals right?

I believe we have the ability/capacity

It's just doing it that is the Qn

Dees are hardly a top 4 team on form

Lions have there issues

Pies are overrated

In all our losses this year we have failed to score 80 points
Conversely we have scored 80+ in all our wins this year bar the game against Hawthorn.

So 80 seems to be our measure. Score 80 and we ought to win. Doesn't matter who the opponent is.

11 goals is our measure too.
Kick more than 11 we always win.
Kick 11 or less we lose on all but one occasion.

Who'd have thought it'd be that hard to kick 12 goals FFS !

Voss should be trying to engineer 12 goal first quarters.

Its obvious all the above have accepted the olive branch from Carlton for silver pastures.
