Of course we get them as they come back to full strength... while other top 8 teams have used them as their play thing with half the side from the WAFL, we'll be lucky to get a win. Look for SPS to play a blinder just to rub it in. This season is now on a knife's edge after promising so much

Zero confidence unless we make several changes.

Weiters obviously back. Owies likely. Possibly Martin. Setters and Hayes will come into consideration. Maybe Stocker.
Who goes out? Don't really care at this point.

I'd give Cerra another go but if he plays like that again then I hope they replace him with Dow.

Cerra was horrible tonight.

I think between now and the Eagles game, Cerra must get his hair cut back to what it was at the beginning of the year.
Oh, and it might also help to do a few high intensity fitness sessions early in the week - he looked puffed when chasing even in the first quarter.

If he wasn't right to play then that's poor by the club to play him. He's not Mark Pittonet, there are other same sized players in the 2s who could've taken his place

I thought Cerra looked lost on a wing. He's a pure on baller like Walsh

Weitering for Plowman
Stocker for Obrien
Owies for Honey

Harsh on O'Brien. Poor last night (wasn't alone) but his last month has been very good

My guess

B: Docherty Young Kemp
HB: Newman Weitering Saad
C: Cottrell Cripps O'Brien
HF: Durdin McKay Fisher
F: Silvagni Curnow Motlop
Foll: TDK Hewett Walsh
Int: Cerra Kennedy Owies Newnes (Hayes)

Plowman

We are one short on the defensive seven, if plowman comes out then we need both Stocker and Weitering in.

I've said it numerous times that long term guys like O'Brien and Plowman will kill us when the heat is on and it was proven last night.
Hopefully Obrien has done enough for a suitable trade at years end.
Plowman unfortunately we are stuck with coz we need depth in mid to small defenders

Plowman is 27 and 140 games. O'Brien is 21 and 50 games. I see them very differently

So that’s:
In - Weitering, Owies
Out - Plowman, Honey.

Hmmm, you might be right - but I think I’d like us to play a 7th defender instead of either Newnes (who shouldn’t have played the role last night) or Owies (who might not be needed for now with Motlop in the team?). That would mean either bringing in Stocker or keeping Plowman (who will be able to play smaller).

Plowman

That would be my choice - Kemp has shown be belongs IMO and deserves to keep his spot.

Weagles play a tall marking team out in the West.

IMO its scraping the bottom of the barrel with Kemp and Plowman.
Plowman is ahead just with experience, and Kemp more upside.

Voss looked a tad excited when speaking about the names we are expecting back after Weitering and Owies mentioned, he raised the name "Durdin might by back this week too".

Weitering vs Kennedy
Young vs Darling

Durdin vs Williams 201/ Nic Nat vs

Waterman 193 vs

192 Plowman
193 Kemp

With 18 out injured, I've been grateful they are both on our list this year, but I get your frustration.

They will not be in our next Premiership team, unless its this year ... I'm expecting one, within the next 3 years.

2nd half effort was good... even with the 7 turnover goals, its the efficiency in front of goal that cost us.
If we just kicked the easiest by Hewett and TDK we would have won....but we didn't.

Enjoy the upward trajectory of this team and this club.

So you're blaming the wing for his terrible performance.

The ball was in his hand, and at that point the actual position is irrelevant because he was terrible with ball in hand....slow in body and mind.

Someone alluded to the point he looked to be playing under a covid cloud.

I'm sure he will bounce back regardless of position he plays wing/mid or combo.

Its going to be hard for Hayes, Dow, Setters... to get the attention of selectors with a bye in the VFL
