What a win, best win I’ve seen for many many many years by a Carlton team.

That has huge ramifications for us, now 8pts clear of 9th, no matter what happens this round.

The kid Kemp, and the other kid Motlop had a big impact at opposite ends, Motlop was a pressure machine with Honey, and Kemp was superb, even though he lost a couple of 1-1 as expected.

Walsh outstanding.

Team effort won that game.

I am just watching the replay now. I didn't realise that Owies injured himself in the warm up.
Any news on Boyd and Kennedy?

At the ground I think it flashed up on the screen 35,441 from memory.

There’s just something about Kemp.
Doesn’t go into his shell and is willing to take the game on.
Struggled against bigger opponent early but kept plugging away.
Reckon he’ll be a player.

Yep! He got beaten in some contests early on but he continued to get the ball...I had my heart in my mouth at times but it was great to see him play on instinct and not capitulate. Our coaching and development is really good at the moment.

What a great win, I think our best for the year.
On paper we had no right to win today, missing so many key players.
Walsh was huge, we are so lucky to have him.
It was hard to find a bad player today.
As it has been all year Carlton supporters turned up in big numbers, the atmosphere was amazing.
TDK battled hard and played a good game.
As some have pointed out the umpires were pretty ordinary.
It was a very enjoyable win and we are a better side than I thought.

Worst decision of the night was holding the ball against Docherty after he marked it but wasn’t sure the umpire would pay the mark so kept going until he heard the whistle…

This cobbled together defence kept Freo to 7 goals

Big Tommy is turning from a boy to a man before our very eye's . Played like a man today . OK , he got beat in the ruck contest's but he contributed in a mature way in so many of the little things in football . The knockoff's , the tap on's , the block's , the shepherd's etc etc . Fabulous . The bottom six ? they were great and to top it off our top six played well . How could you lose ? we dominated them and the final score flattered them .

He is going to be something special but when he leaps at the ball at the centre bounces - we get clear ball because of his palm work. Hopefully he starts to realise what he can do when he does that!

Best win of the year for sure. With all the injured players the win shows the game plan is solid and the players are committed. Everyone contributed and did their part. Kemp and Honey took some time to settle but both contributed and looked composed in the second half. TDK, Walsh, JSOS and Young had huge games. Finally a game where our wingers provided assistance in defense as well as providing attacking runs through the middle and finishing with goals.
Very happy with this win!

Unbelievable effort today.
The thing that stood out the most for me was the intensity, pressure and body work we applied, the hardest effort at the ball I've seen in years.
We beat them in nearly every team stat.
An effort like that gives me great hopes for finals.

TDK was outstanding.
Walsh was next level.
Kennedy was back in form and knocked it up a gear.
JSOS is starting to become my favourite player of the team, goes hard and flys the flag well.
Harry played a great game, I feel he sacrificed his game a bit for the team and his defensive work was great.
Charlie did great also, so good to have him playing like this.
Motlop did a great job, his role seemed very defensive, 5 tackles, great pressure.
LOB played an awesome game, he keeps getting better each week. 2 goals.
Saad, the bloke is a freak, can't wait to see him in finals.
Fish did a good job on Brayshaw the times I seen him on him.
Doc, well it's doc.
Young had a ripper, what a pick up.
Boyd, I really like the way he plays, I hope he's alright.
And Cotts, geez he put some feet in mouths tonight......especially me. Great game, great running and pressure. Plus 2 goals also.

Spewing we missed a few easy shots on goal, we could've really sent a message tonight.

Bring on the Aint's

Really liked Harry's game too sidefx. Don't care he only finished with a couple of goals, he brought a lot to the table today.

But really everyone did their bit. That's what made this win so satisfying
