If Boyd misses, I'd bring Stocker in.
Cerra and Owies if fit for Jessie and Honey.
If Weiters is ready, Kemp unlucky to miss out.

IN: Weitering, Cerra, Owies
OUT: Honey, Motlop, Boyd (inj)

Fisher spends more time as small fwd
Kemp deserves to be sub

From what Voss said in his presser, don’t think Weiters will play. More likely for the Eagles game.

Other top teams have relatively easy games. Got to win!

Next round's selections is as simple as this.

There's not much in the cupboard and there's players coming back from injury.

If Cerra is fit they might rest Kennedy who looks very sore
If Weitering is ready maybe Kemp can play JSOS role up forward and he can have a spell, also looks very sore. Not sure who gives the ruck a chop out, maybe Young

Just my observations

I think it was Kane Cornes of all people who said that saints spot in the 8 was vulnerable. They are in a slight spot of trouble at the moment

If we beat them next week they are gonna struggle to make finals.

I posted in one of our chats that us and the Saints looked the most vulnerable given the fixture.
But we have shored up our spot now IMO - as long as we don’t drop the games against WCE and Adelaide (and I think the WCE is a real danger game with their good players returning).
But with this win, and those two, we should be able to snag at least one other to make it 13 or more and secure a spot.
The Saints, on the other hand MUST beat us next week and then win a few others against the odds.

I disagree, we can't rest players thinking we've got coverage and can still win.

We must win this.

They can rest during end of season bye.

Resting players also gives the group an incorrect mentality. Must keep focused and keep building.
Plenty of improvement still to come.

The Saints were so bad last night that I'm in two minds about selection.

On the one hand, they were so bad we could make minimal changes and allow players like Cerra, Weitering, etc. more time to recover.
On the other they were so bad that it could be a good game to ease players back into the side.

Mind you, the Saints could find some form. They blow hot and cold.

OUT: Boyd (inj), Owies (inj)
IN: Stocker, Motlop.

So, basically, out Boyd - in Stocker and no other change.

That was such an even performance yesterday you'd be reluctant to make too many changes.

I cant see them bringing Honey in for one game and then dropping him. I think he has more upside than Owies. So I'd bring Stocker in for Boyd, and maybe Owies for Motlop, but would be happy enough for Motlop to stay in.

I’m not advocating resting them for the sake of it, they look genuinely banged up and we need players at their best.

We’ve got 8 more games and if resting 2 guys now means they’re available for the next 7 then it’s what we need to do

It was a tough game last night and there will be some sore boys at training this week. Boyd & Kennedy have already been mentioned, but I reckon Silvagni and some others will need to be carefully managed if they are to come up for Friday.

Voss seemed cautiously optimistic that we’d get Cerra back, but less so about Weitering.

You never know about Jack. Always looks buggered or injured but then bounces back. He's a tough bugger. When Pittonet comes back it wouldn't hurt to give him a rest for a week if he needs it

Boyd was walking okay after the game so hope it's not an issue. Kid really impresses me

I'm told Pittonet & Weitering should be okay but do we play them? Cerra is right to go.

Going to be a very interesting selection. It's great to have options and not be desperate to bring players back quickly

Do you pick Plowman or Kemp if Weitering is back?

Plowman for mine.

He is harshly judged on past stuff, I think he's been really good this year.
