I saw this too.
Watch the whole video and BT interviews Durdin after the game with his sister in the rooms.
Enjoy the long weekend everyone.

Cripps was just interviewed on foxfooty. He said Young played a ripping game.
He also said being 9-3 is probably better than he thought we would be.
Take the win and spoil the cheats party.

We'd all be ecstatic with 9-3 before the season but this mentality that needs to change... we are so much more now

I no longer want the finals participation ribbon... I want the other 7 seams to truly fear us... I believe we're capable

Voss knows this which is why he gave them a spray at 3 qtr time... just hope 'some of the leaders' approve this time around

Really liked Newman's game. Agile, confident, reliable.

Disappointed Durdin missed his 2 shots. Should've gobbled up both.

The last qtr was just a stalemate, bit like the swans game. It ain't pretty but it's winning us games of footy so can't complain. I wonder if it's all part of a bigger picture plan, to teach us how to just kill off games & get the win.

Extremely poor oppo last night & the intensity goes up next week. A lot.

I know we won ugly - but the commentary was a disgrace.

Essendon*** we’re consistently talked up - a great list blah blah, how good they’d be in two years blah blah.

We’re was the little boy in the crowd to tell it like it is - these shit stains aren’t wearing any @#$%&! clothes.

According to ch7 premiership favourites for next season....especially once Jakey Stringer gets a good run of games under his belt

I hate Essendon* as much as anyone...believe me I do
And yes, this love for them in the media is nauseous
BUT...they are playing well below potential (like us under DT) and they do have some bloody good kids...all we can hope for is that those kids don't become the quality players that Ess are hoping they become

Was Newman in the middle for a few centre bounces last night?

Good workman like effort i thought . That third quarter was a bit Hollywood for mine . More like Hollowood for mine . No wonder Voss went Ape droppings . Still , the boys aren't robots so every now and then i will cop a bit of show boating . But now its knuckle down time . You had your bit of fun boys so now its get to work time . Got to iron out those little flaws that will expose you come finals time . Thats what Voss was on about . You cannot pull the wool over this blokes eye's . Fantastic it is .

Jack was fantastic against Draper.

Thought Jack did better against Draper than TDK.

Can't believe we didn't keep Philip as a break glass option for Ruck. Totally get why we delisted Levi after his struggles last year

We effectively swapped Phillips for Pittonet. I’m fine with that.

I am watching the replay and they showed the build up.
Sickening stuff and now knowing the result makes it funny.

Take the 4 points. Fairly professional win given we were never really challenged after quarter time. Didn’t play anywhere near our best but we bank the win that takes us closer to a finals berth.
Doc, Newman, Young, Saad, Hewett, Walsh and H were good
Our centre clearance work was disappointing but compensated with slingshot footy off half back that was very efficient.

Another bt build up, joke of a player.
Thinks he's an enforcer, should have given away at least 5 frees and maybe a report due.
Cannot understand the thought process :banghead:

Stringshot? Thought process? Surely you jest. I got a good laugh out of the excuse as to why Stringshot couldn't break the tackle of a guy half his size; poor Stringshot.

Stringer is at the club that he belongs.

I'm pretty sure that Sam Draper's mum is also his sister.

Not sure if I have mentioned this before (I'm sure I have)..........but back in the day, a recruiter who shall remain nameless, had been to visit Stringer and his parents, pre draft for an interview.

His take on Stringer............."He will will never be at my club while my backside points to the ground!"

I may have cleaned that up a tad for the sake of the kiddies. :yikes:

As the man at the Fair says............."Tickets please, Tickets please!!!!!"

Can I safely assume that recruiter didn't moonlight as a trapeze artist or 10m olympic diver

I’m glad we spoiled their party - would have liked to have spoiled it by more though.

I don't think we could've spoiled it any better in 1999
