I said this in the match thread, it was an odd game. Because we literally just did what we had to. Nothing more.

We'd have all liked to win by 198 points, but I think that the win we had tonight, while unexciting, is a better indicator of where we're at.

Also we shat on their 150th.

Cripps was just interviewed on foxfooty. He said Young played a ripping game.
He also said being 9-3 is probably better than he thought we would be.
Take the win and spoil the cheats party.

Phew!! Not a pretty game at all. One where you probably wont watch the second half replay again much.

But we beat em’. Yay!!

Take the win, move on. Just as well the Drugsters are crap though. I hope Cerra and Jack pull up okay. Jeez we need Pitto back.

This!! I’ve been saying this all season. Our small forwards do a lot of things right but they don’t appear to be very good at instinctively reading the fall of the ball from our F50 marking contests. I could count on one hand the amount of direct front and square roving goals we’ve had, and 2 of them were Jack Martin vs Port.

The highlight for me was the last 90 seconds. Blues 28 pts up and I have given my boss 24 pts in for a $20 bottle of red. They have 2 very gettable shots on goal.    Gold.

The drinks are on him. :thanks: :thanks: :thanks:

Go Blues.

Regards Cazzesman

LOB is a decent outside runner who must be given the ball. If Stocker can run put him on the wing.

Nah.

Good win. Nothing much else to say. Move on to next week. Glad to see Marchy get through.

I thought big trouble when Cerra went off but Cottrell played a nice game. So did Boyd.

TDK is getting better all the time but tonight he didn't have all that much opposition.

Boyd played a nice game?

Totally agree. They do not hit the falling ball hard.

Just had to win. Bank the 4 points and move on.

I was petrified in the lead up. Petrified. To get the job done and spoil their 150th is just absolutely fantastic.

Eat a bunch of dicks you dirty filthy black and red cauliflower

I know we won ugly - but the commentary was a disgrace.

Essendon* we’re consistently talked up - a great list blah blah, how good they’d be in two years blah blah.

We’re was the little boy in the crowd to tell it like it is - these shit stains aren’t wearing any @#$%&! clothes.

Ultimately happy with any win against those filthy sash wearing @#$%&! drug cheating cauliflower.

But the opposition aside, you have to happy with a comfortable win where we were never really challenged from the 2nd on, playing nowhere near our best footy. That alone is a sign of how far we’ve come. But we will definitely have to be closer to our best over the next 3 weeks to get the wins.

I also think the rain helped keep the margin respectable for the scum. Brought the standard of the game down and evened things out a bit for them

Been a while since winning didn’t feel amazing. I’ll take it as a good sign. Imagine the alternative weekend had we lost. Go Blues and hope they enjoy the celebration tomorrow night.
