Find a way blues. This mob is being talked up by the media, but they're just OK. We play our best footy, we win. Let's get it done

Them likely getting that lynch tosser back will make it tough but agree. Nothing I saw from them Thursday night was particularly impressive. Very beatable this mob.

Last thing we need is dow in, pretender of the highest order. He still hasn't learnt what he needs to improve to be a senior player :screwy: :banghead:
We need fully committed players that run both ways.

Cottrell did well enough when he came on to earn a spot in the 22. They both looked worse for wear at 3qtr time but played out the game so assuming JSOS and Bam Bam will be fine. Let's see if anyone puts their hand up in vfl later today. Boyd didn't get much of it last night but when he did it was quality. Thought LOB was poor. Corey possibly played his worst game for us but has built up enough credits.

Is anyone due to come back this week?

Are we a chance, as we have a tough number of games coming up. We need our mids to get back into form quick smart as I was disappointed in them last night against a second rate midfield.

I am hoping it was due to the conditions and the ruck.

Would be handy if Lynch doesnt come back in.

I would bring in Dow or Hayes for Cerra. Cottrell as sub again.

Boyd keeps his place ahead of Stocker for now because he is using the ball better.

Cannot lose the center bounces as badly as we did last night...

Massive 3 weeks for us that could well shape our year. Richmond Freo & St Kilda without Weitering & Pittonet. Win 2 or 3 and top 4 is ours to lose. Win 1 and we are back in the pack

Based on last night not sure. Boyd only had 6 touches, turned it over twice & went at 67%. Gained 99 metres...couple of ok shortish kicks but not sure id be picking him just for ball use.
Stocker got dropped after 12 disposals, 3 turnovers and going at 83%. He gained 231 metres. I think both guys give good defensive efforts but if you're leaving Boyd in based on last nights ball use i think it says the bar is much lower for him than it is for Stocker. Having said all that Stock needs to have a good game in the 2s today to be considered.

If Lynch is coming back should we consider Durdin? They'll likely play with Riewoldt, Lynch and Balta..

Durdin will have to come into consideration , Richmond will be playing 3 agile , skilled tall forwards all game changers , and a more than serviceable Ruckman division & we’re deficient for talls in starting 22 ,
Obviously. No choice .
On a separate note Kennedy looked a little sore last night? Not sure how that will deve.lop.

Martin looked sore at the end of the game too. Hopefully they both pulled up OK this morning.

Half a dozen touches isn’t enough to stay in imo …

In: Setterfield
Out: Cerra

Sub: Cottrell

Setters to play Cerra role.

Walsh is the replacement for Cerra. Take him out of the wing/HF rotation & bring in whoever to fill the void.

IN: Carroll/Fogarty/Hayes, Stocker, Kemp
OUT: Cerra, Boyd, Plowman

Pleasantly surprised to see Marchbank fit & able. I think Kemp would be a better pairing for him - stronger & quicker between the contests. Plus, it’s hard work watching Plowman get victimised each week.

Just my humble…

Agree. I think this is what will happen

I felt like we got a bit of rust out against Essendon*. I expect a massive improvement this week
