Hmmm….7 games left…we need at least
3 more wins STILL….but we’re not losing more
than 4 ….so looks like
we can push for a scrape into the 8…

I think we’ll win our next four.

Not that you’d plug them all in straight away, but we’re looking at:

WCE - Weitering, Owies, Martin, Fogarty
Cats - Pittonet, McGovern
GWS - Durdin, Ed Curnow?
Crows -
Bris -
Dees - Marchbank
Filth -

Williams, Boyd & Cuningham are up against it… but, if the rehab group is halved over the next few weeks… a change in ‘vibe’ can do wonders for the group.

I can see that.

Despite letting the last game slip, we are still a very good team.

The inclusion of Weitering, stiffens us up, then with Pittonet a week later, they are all the reinforcement we need to produce our best.

And once again we continue to drink our own bathwater and downplay the pies.

6 in a row for them. When's the last time we did that? 2000?

We are in serious danger of missing the 8 now.

If Moore has done his ACL then the Pies are finished for the season. They will beat North next week but fall in a hole afterwards.

We have the same wins and their % is actually worse than ours, plus we are getting injured players back the next few rounds.

Why are they so much more likely to make it than we are?

North Crows Bombers are their next 3.
They will be on 13 wins and playing finals

Didn't realise only one of Collingwood or Carlton were allowed to play finals. Sydney just lost to *, and lost to Port a fortnight ago. Why are we rating them above us? In fact, Geelong and Collingwood are the only sides in the entire league not to have lost at least 2 of their last 5 games.

Without Moore I'd back the Crows to win in Adelaide and Essendon* will be a good chance the following week.

With Port Sun's and PA losing it looks as if the only team outside the 8 that could make it is Saints.
I think their run home is to hard.
13 is the magical number
We need 3 more

Agree SB, we’ll play finals. Would be nice to have our best players up running, rather than limping in however.

It has been 6 weeks both Weitering & Pittonet were out.
We have won 3 and lost 3.

We are doing alright.

I'm sure the boys are hungry enough for Finals to take them there.

Saints have Freo next week (in Melbourne) then the Dogs, West Coast then Hawthorn. Providing we beat West Coast and Freo defeat the Saints then we should be OK.
Richmond have a relatively easy run home and are a fair chance of taking 4th spot.
If we make the finals I hope we don't have to travel interstate to play Sydney or Freo.

The Swans could miss, their run home isn't easy. They play StK in the final round as well.

Swans, Rich and Coll all get to play Norf tho.
