Remember a month or two ago when some were confidently stating 13 wins wouldn't be enough and that our season was effectively cooked at 9w4l or whatever? Good times.

I know. It would be far more entertaining if everyone was an expert after the event, wouldn't it?

Don't be salty. It was a dumb call then and I was happy to say so at the time.

Ya know….

I’m having bit of a think…and as we all
know…it’s been 8 weeks of W.L. …and it’s
easy to just say…it’s a Loss…or an L…!

It’s not the L that’s an issue…but who the L
was against…!

this really makes my guts churn…but lets
look at it…!

The Colon-woods…
The TIIIGES…
The Aints…
And Geelong….!

lets look at that one more time…!

The Colon-Woods…
The TIIIGES…
The Aints…
And Geelong…!

How the %#@& did that happen…?

there’s one team there that’s a bloody good
team…one that’s meh…and two that are %#@&ING POX…!

and yet…here we are…!

yeah I’m angry…but ya know what…secretly I’m
really excited…!

be excited folk…we have nine weeks of football left…
lets soak it up…!

It’s been a rippa season…and the only reason
it hurts so much when we lose…is because
we all care again…!

lets care together folk…it’s so good to care again…!

kindest regards tommi

more so now, when you consider their performances before and after us ...

it shows just how low we got, that even shit sides think they are a monty against us ... still, bad conversion in front of goal is bad football ..

still, we have improved a tremendous amount, and will "learn from that experience", have to keep reminding myself to kerb my expectations this year .. its so much better going to the footy, generally thinking we can only lose this ourselves ... (though i did think the cats generally did a number on us, but that is one of a few games where i think we where outplayed) .. compared to last year ...

So much so that those perennial losers extended the coaches contract the week after

That was very strange, to me. They've effectively shut the door on clarkson without any pressing need to do so

St Kilda have lost 5 out of 6 which is what really shits me now.
Coll, Geel have had crazy winning streaks and Richmond didn't lose that many games around ours.

But Saints will probably beat WC and paper over some more cracks and everyone will be happy with them this week.

Agree ...... It was all about Paddy Ryder that night. He gave it to us big time and as expected is now injured again and won't be seen again this season.

OK, so we're pretty much there now. One more win and we have made it!

Win all 4 remaining games we would make top 4. Win 3 and it would be a 4th-6th finish, win 2 or 1 and we'll be 7th or 8th.

I have a feeling we will win 3 and finish 5th or 6th, missing top 4 on percentage.

Bad omen for next week is that the following teams play each other
Freo v Melb
Geel v WBD
Rich v Bris

So the opportunity to gain a game on three contenders is too real and we'll obviously implode under the pressure.

It would be funny if it wasn't so true...

Playing around with the ladder predictor, 13 wins could see us finish 9th with poor %

Bulldogs have Geelong... Freo and Giants at home and Hawks
Tigers have Lions at home... Port away and finish with Hawks and Junkies

14 wins and we're a lock for September...

We just need to win the third time we play them this year.
Go Blues!
