By the look of the draw we may play any one of GWS Swans or WB in the first final.

I will be barracking for:

Melb win vs Swans
Dogs vs Cats
Carlton vs GWS for 10 in a row

If above happens we play WB in Elimination
If GWS win and all else happens we play Swans in Elimination Final
If Cats win we play GWS in Elimination Final
If we lose we play GWS again in Elimination Final

Regardless we will win against them all making it 11 wins in a row.

Isnt it important that Brisbane beat the aints
Doesnt that mean if they do we play a home final first up regardless of the rest
Obviously want to finish 5th so we play second final in Melbbif we ard lucky and good enough to win first

Flip side to this is if we finish 6th we avoid Brisbane in Brisbane. We’d have to travel to for the second final to take on Port but then we’d get a prelim in Melbourne vs Collingwood or Melb. Pros and cons but you’d think Brisbane in Brisbane is a tougher assignment than Port in Adelaide, but maybe not.

Either way I can’t see saints beating Brisbane and I can’t see Sydney winning and making up 70 points to overtake us, so I think we’re a lock to finish 5th regardless of whether we win or lose

No Max King. Plus the Lions will be going all out to hold second. We should be right Frank

Hope so. All we need is for the Saints to lose and we cannot fall below 6th and will get a home final.
Lions have too much to lose so they should win.

I'm looking for the easiest kill in Elimination Final at home at the MCG, followed by the loser of Coll v Melb again at the MCG.

We are in control of our destiny.

Saints wont beat Lions.

Yes of course thats the best route but after 9 in a row and winning the last 2 under a goal we want Brisbane to win in case we dont
After all North are up on the GC anything can happen if a side is off on the day

Dogs. On paper arguably have a better group than the other 2 but they are rubbish. And that loss to them earlier this season really grates on me cos they were shithouse that night. We just managed to be worse. Want to avenge that.

I like the idea of playing the swans first up.

No thanks.

My ex barracks for the Dogs.

I think we’re a fair bit better than them but I couldn’t stomach going down to them.

Anyone but GWS. Happy with Swans or Dogs and think we match up better.

First preference Sydney, then GWS followed by Dogs.
I think GWS are a very good side however we would get a huge home crowd advantage playing them at Marvel. We wouldn't have that advantage against the Dogs.

Not beyond realms of possibility that we play aints week 1. Giants beat us and make up 2% they go above aints. Swans win and then aints drop to 8th.

Dogs or Swans.

Mostly because we played them when we were really crap.
