Goodness me lads….

thank you so much for your kind words…very
touching…i don’t do much…so i just do this…!

very much appreciated…!

kindest regards tommi

i need to state though…the “lid’s” not off…
ooh no…!

although having said that…i may have intentionally
bumped the bin after round three…slightly
dislodging it sure…but firmly replacing it after
round four…!

Hey folk….

I’ve been doing some math…and the numbers
are very interesting…so check this*…!

we play 13 more games before the finals…
and when they’re laid out in front of you…well…
here it are…!

Sydney…Marvel…
Colon…MCG…
Dirty filthy cheating Black an Red @#%&’S…MCG…
Tiges…MCG…
Freo…Marvel…
Saints…Marvel…
Eagles…Optus…
Geelong…MCG…
Giants…Marvel…
Crows…Adelaide Oval…
Brisbane…Gabba…
Dees…MCG…
Colon…MCG…!

so…ostensibly 10 home games and 3 away…(6 at the Gee
and 4 at the Marvel…!

lets look at our away games first…Weagles Crows and
Brion’s…I’m not into making predictions…so i won’t…
but hey…it’s all there for us to see…!

Hmmm…sorry folk…i started this post two hours
ago…in the mean time I’ve eaten 12 chicken and
mushroom dumplings…and been on the phone
for an hour…so I’ve forgotten my exact point….!

i guess something along the lines of…surely we
can win 8 out of 13…with our game plan as
it is…!

lets face it…we only play 3 teams above us…!

but no predictions hey…!

kindest regards tommi

* or not…i don’t know…!

We will make finals.

But more importantly was it 12 chicken dumplings AND 12 mushroom or just 12 chicken/mushrooms dumplings? This is important. Now I need you to think hard...

When I first joined TC in 2004 I noticed this fellow tommi.
A few posters had a go at him and his nonsense because they didn't seek to understand the deep thoughtful messaging.

Then I found out he was a drummer. Ah, Musical Brethren, I thought.
Then I realised he's a one eyed Carlton supporter, and literally too.
Then I realised he was from Greek heritage and cultured

Tommi went missing for a long while during the Teague era.
I recall a poster mention he is recovering from health issue and was paying tommi a visit out in the sticks.
I was happy to hear he was still alive and kicking TBH.

Now I feel he's back too !!! and ... we are a better place for it.

Give us the Cup.
Great to hear and have Tommi back.... Getting the band back together!

Go Blues

We play at that level for four quarters, we'd win by 150+ points.

I bet most here can remember the early 80's and our 3rd quarter assaults? They were some of the best 30 minutes of footy I have ever experienced.
You don't need to play 4 quarters of that 'type' of footy - just one would do!!

ps. 3 premierships in 4 years would do me as well.

Yep to all the above.

All we need to do is nullify the opposition for 3 Quarters then bang hit 'em with the "Carlton Premiership Quarter".
Isn't that what we are doing now? Except we surprise the opposition with the quarter we are going to go BANG, BANG, BANG...

Against Tigers it was the 4th
Against Doggies it was the 2nd
Against Hawks it was the 1st
Against Port it was the 1st & 2nd
Against North it was the 3rd............the Traditional "Premiership Quarter" coined to describe the Blues onslaught of goals in the 3rd quarter
Against Adelaide it was the 2nd & 3rd
Against GWS we wore the down in the 2nd half (sapping their energy with a Dope on the Rope first half)
Against the Swans it was the 2nd

Against our Traditional Rivals, the Pies, it will be .... a slaughter at some stage, if not the whole game after a 9 day break.

I remember many a 3rd qtr blitz in our run to the finals in '83. Geez that was fun!

I have strong memories of Glascott running up and down the wing for four quarters keeping us in the game until our premiership quarter blew the opposition away.

I've done the ladder predictor this morning and round 23 vs pies is gonna be a pre finals elimination final - winner takes 8th spot. Yikes.

Looking at our injury list and the teams we face over the next month....its starting to look like you're predicting trav.

Have to beat Effendum next up.

I'm not expecting many KP's to return in the next month either, so the bye isn't helping us much, given we already had 9 days off.

I'm going with a glass half full approach for once.

We have 8 wins already, 13 should be enough for finals.

Teams like GC, Port, Filth probably won't make it but will take a couple of wins off other contenders
GC play Richmond, Geelong and the Filth up there for example, and they're becoming hard to beat at home.

WBD and Richmond have tough runs home although Richmond barely leave Victoria.
St Kilda and Sydney also don't have it easy.

We will probably finish below Geelong tho, because they have yet play WC (twice) and Norf (again) which is 3 wins and %.

For those getting nervous
Come round 17 with 6 matches to go we will be pretty much at full strength

This full strength Carlton side can beat anyone

Yeah, I mean we did think we wouldn't win anything without Harry...and we won the 2 games we weren't expecting to (and lost the one we pencilled in lol).

I hate footy.
