A great team effort.

Plowman and Weitering both huge.

Durdin and sos too.

Midfield very even effort.

Durdin is a machine ,, his running up and down the ground is insane …

A very important cog to the Voss structure !!
Durdin has amazing strength and technique in tackling... I don't think I've seen one of his tackles broken.... 'The Clamp'

Go Blues

Kid can play midfield

As such has a bit of Boomer Harvey about him

Agree. Best game. Got back and helped in defence a few times. He and Motlop have the game to help in the midfield when needed

It certainly felt that way at the ground, there was blue everywhere you looked except one section which was probably GWS members. It felt like it was a Carlton home game.

Just back from the game (it’s a long drive home). What a great win to witness! The guys were giving away height and size in almost every key position and they were pushed around a lot but they just kept digging in again and again and the persistence paid off in the end. A real tough four quarter effort.

Great to sing the song afterwards, I don’t think I’ve had the chance for at least 15 years….

Gee that umpiring was perplexing wasn’t it?

I gave Walsh my 5 votes in the MVP with 4 to Durdin, but watching the replay, I think I've done Durds a disservice. He was BOG. He was in everything. Goals tackles possessions and working up and down the ground tirelessly. Proper break out game. Well done young fella

Good games from some of the lesser lights/whipping boys, thought all of Plowman, Cotts, Fisher and Newnes were good today.

Kennedy as tough as old shoe leather, that hit he took was massive!

Oh yeah, almost forgot

Go Blues!!!

Just a reminder that we won that game with Kemp, Carroll, Motlop, Durdin, all less than 10 games.

Great taking my older boy to a win and glad he is seeing Carlton winning.

Crowd louder when decision made against Carlton so it felt like a Carlton home game. Lots of Blues fans.

Plowman an important cog today to play taller than required but I felt our structure helped. Either that or GWS couldn’t work out a good way out of their D50 most of the game.

Durdin can seriously play. I was not convinced after his first year but he is critical to our forward line. Sticks tackles and his kicking is top notch. Reminds of a bit of Puopolo.

Wobbly patch in 2nd quarter but more mature 2nd half performance.

Link up play between backline, midfield and forward lines much better than last year, definitely a more cohesive unit.

A nice arvo at the footy but gee the umpiring was poor - both sides copped some bewildering decisions.

Best win for the year for the club given the various things stacked against us going into the game. That's a sign the team is maturing and improving. A shout out to guys like Plowman and Newnes and Cottrell and Durdin who have been good the last couple weeks and who might not always get the packs on the backs.

Agreed mate. This is the reason we are becoming a very good side. The next man up mentality is really paying off. Pressure on spots in the team is becoming immense.

Previous years we'd play a side we had a poor record against and on a ground we haven't been able to win on. Have an honourable loss and say we had 8 players 22 and under. Not a bad effort. This time we win by 30, should've been more.
What a fantastic turnaround!
