Convincing Williams that he might only have a calf tear was the defining move for the day.

that was a really good win.

we have set out season up beautifully .. with swans pies and dons over the next few weeks, we could easily be 9 - 3 which would be an outstanding result at the halfway mark. I simply would not have believed you if you told me that at the start of the season.

best thing about today's game, cant really think of any real individual dominance for the whole game by one of our players, but contributors at different times of the games from different players. that was the most pleasing aspect for me. I did feel that Walsh was probably our best.

7 - 2 with Pittonet, McKay, Stocket, Martin, Williams, McGovern/Young, Marchbank, Cunningham all to come back into the side ... exciting stuff.

Back from watching my 3rd win in Sydney and boy it was fun.
They are a seriously good team.
Weiters was sensational down back.
Tough game to pick the best players as everyone put in.
I thought Plowman set the tone in the first 5 minutes of the game. Must have had 5 disposals.
I knew it was only a matter of time before Charlie would hit the scoreboard.
Once again Kennedy started the 3rd quarter on fire.
Durdin was brilliant probably should have had a couple more.
Thought LOB goal in the 3rd quarter was a clutch goal.
JSOS was brilliant and I walked past his mum and she is brilliant also.

We are a good football side now.

What a huge win this is. Really is just one defining game. The boys pushed hard against all the odds and come up trump. So proud and very, very excited with what we can do from here. GO Baggers.

Where is Mr Keogh from WA?
I'd love to know your thoughts.
Go Blues!

I’m @#$%&! rapt. Huge, huge win. So many (legitimate) reasons where we would of been excused with an honourable loss. Massive, mature performance.

Thought we’d blown our brilliant start and then thought we wasted too many golden chances in the third. To win like that was fantastic.

Just fear our injuries are going to catch up with us very soon.

It’s a worry, but we have Young back next week, hopefully Stocker too.

Marchy stringing some VFL games together then back in firsts would also be great.
Should get Young, Stocker, Martin and Marchbank back in the next month.

The question is, how many do we lose during that time...

Another great win. Hopefully we can continue to pile on the W's. With some players coming back we should get even better. I really want us to curb stomp Essendon* on the 10th of June.

Before the season started I kept telling people we were a top four side. But come round one in conversation with Marc Murphy, I said I'd retracted my position and was now saying top eight. To which Murph replied, "Why have you changed your mind from top four?" and I said "Well I'm feeling nervous!" After this performance I do think we have the character in the squad to be a genuine top four team. Bring on the Swans next Friday, I believe we are ready to make a statement to the rest of the league.

Pros:

Could have easily found a reason to lose today. But didn't.
Spread of goalkickers. We'll need that over the next weeks.
Walsh and Weiters best game of the year.
Fish is in career best form.
Cripps, Hewett, Docherty, Saad, Durdin and SOJ were all good.
After a nervous start, Kemp was pretty good.
Another good effort from Cottrell as sub.
LOB got a decent amount of ball.

Cons:

Another injury.
Allowed some easy goals which got Giants into the game after we had a foot on their throat.
Umpiring was fairly awful.
Carroll was pretty quiet.
Owies missed a couple of goals that a small forward shouldn't miss.

A great team effort.

Plowman and Weitering both huge.

Durdin and sos too.

Midfield very even effort.

Durdin is a machine ,, his running up and down the ground is insane …

A very important cog to the Voss structure !!

Yep. We have really found one here. He is just electric. Can't wait to see him have a few bursts on ball in the future. Really strong overhead for such a small guy too

Haven’t watched the last 3 quarters as I was playing a
Guitar at the local brewery
I saw the score at 3 quarter time and ask anyone in the crowd what was the results 8 songs later
30 point win
Will comment after watching the game but obviously good win with a lot against us
7 wins from 9 and unless there is something drastic we will play finals legitimately for the first time in over a decade( I don’t count 2013)
With Freo losing that helps as well

Do you care?

Probably something like "not modern enough"
"only the giants"
