Go Blues

This

This is how we beat them.

Our midfield group is relentless.
They do tire but they get the job done.

We've got as much firepower as them.

Put aside our away form thus far.

I watched our last 2 games, last night & today.
I was looking for a reason to believe I may have a great day at GWS Stadium for a change.

We are coming off 2 huge wins. We are in form.
I saw Young and Harry playing roles for the team.
I concluded if we had other players in their roles, we would have still have won handsomely in the last 2 weeks.

Its not about 2 players.
The boys would know that.

Vossy will get them ready.

There will be a lot of Carlton noise (sadly, not from missnauts clan) if we get the game on OUR TERMS.

Interesting game this one
Good sides adapt when there are significant outs.
The two wins were against shit opposition
Posters like yourself don’t take that into consideration
Looking at GWS it’s hard to believe there 15 th with that team
Clearly Cameron had had enough or the players had enough of him

3 things from me
I would play Weitering on Greene. He is GWS best forward. Williams Saad and Docherty aren’t lock down defenders
Play Plowman on Hogan who is overrated
Play Kemp on Himmelberg
Play your best defender on their best forward

DeBoer will obviously go to Cripps . Lock him down and it will be interesting how we go. Our two worst efforts were against GC and Port where we lost and nearly lost.
Cripps off early in the first game didn’t play in the second game
If he has an off day which he is due to have will the rest step up. So far that’s been an obvious fail

Extremely important Hewitt plays if he is fit. Hard nut and a good clearance player.
Walsh doesn’t look 100% to me. Cerra is classy but I want him to stay at that same level when circumstances get a bit tougher
All to be revealed Sunday

was this necessary??? you dont have to be sanctimonious and nasty all of the time

if de boer was the sub and unused, and not listed as as in, does that mean he isnt playing?

I agree, except for the grandstanding bit.

WE have plenty of cover, all we have to do is continue to play our roles and last longer than them.
It is as almost simple as covering their KPF's, and let our mids go up against theirs.

We won by 10 goals against teams that had something to prove but only lasted a half in each game against a more mature Carlton.
A bit of dirty ball and I think we may get 'em, regardless of history and your histrionics.

This is the type of game good sides will win. Given injuries and issues at GWS if we win it's a big step forward

My guess is that Newnes will rotate through the backline as the seventh defender.

…and a kemp will rotate on then JSOS goes into the ruck.

Had to, he's been dead for 30 years.

Bit like CFC injury, out for 1-2 weeks.

I thought that we learned many games ago that Newnes plays his best footy at half forward (or on a wing) - he is not a defender.

Like others, I thought Boyd played quite well. Would love to see him take O'Brien's spot on a wing if it's a choice between the two.

Win and we stay a game clear in 4th.

Lose and we could drop back to 7th as Geelong play St Kilda (5th vs 7th) and if Sydney beat Essendon*.

Also a win puts us 3 games clear in the 8.

I can't see it.
I'll be amazed if Kemp doesn't play defence. He has trained with the defenders at times this year and we need another tallish player back there.
