Why is there talk of Cripps being suspended for a basic tackle?

There really wasn't.

Mitch cleary threw out a Twitter bait and a few grabbed it. Not much to talk about this round, fairly unremarkable. So need to create content for the news cycle

The old Wag The Dog approach of 'start a war with Albania'

I'm still abit perplex by the stocker report .. but if Cripps gets done ... I think that's me done ..

They keep mentioning he has neck issues .. what the dark does that have to do with anything ...

Patrick Cripps cleared of any wrongdoing for his tackle on Lachie Murphy. His Brownlow Medal bid is still on

Have they explicitly cleared every other legal tackle from the weekend?

I cannot believe this got any air time at all.
Cripps was on the end of a heavy tackle that shook him up during the game too.

Interested in what you mean by getting caught out "one paced".
Is that in Transition? Interested in our weaknesses after 8 rounds.

I think it's most obvious in transition when the ball is turned over, and we can't catch the opposition. I reckon there's a fair few sides that are quicker than us.

 Thanks. Think the same.

There's so many metrics of speed, but genuine speed of legs are in Cuningham, Philp, Honey types. Can see them being integral in 2024.

Quote:
Incident assessed:
The incident involving Carlton’s Patrick Cripps and the Adelaide Crows’ Lachlan Murphy from the third quarter of Sunday’s match between Carlton and the Adelaide Crows was assessed. Murphy gains possession of the ball in the centre square where he is met by Cripps who lays a tackle. It was the view of the Match Review Officer that Cripps’ actions did not constitute a reportable offence. No further action was taken.

What a joke
