Isn’t good to feel slightly flat after an 8 goal win?

74 inside 50 is enormous

Great when you can win by 8 goals pulling up.

I wish Charlie didn't miss those relatively easy set shots

Why do I feel shit about that? One of the most all round dominant performances I can remember. At no stage did I feel like we would lose. And yet, that was an opportunity for a 15 goal destroyation.

there is a little bit of this ... but how far have we come?

we are 6 - 2, with gws, swans, pies and dons to come, we could realistically be 10-2 (could also be 6 - 6, but i think that unlikely)

if we go 8 - 4 at the halfway mark, its an amazing turn around.

still have alot go improve on defensively, that itself will take care of the percentage ... but highlights just how poor Teague was (and that isnt to kick him either) but its been remarkable ...

Feeling slightly disappointed with a 48 point win; this must be how supporters of successful clubs feel. I guess I'll get used to this strange new feeling in time.

Remember how bad things were in Bolton's last season? That will cheer you up.
Go Blues!

During that period we ran a train through them in the third quarter is how I imagine Melbourne supporters feel every week. And Richmond supporters before them. Just enjoyment at watching my team play pure beautiful dominant footy. It's been a long time.

We faded again... that's why we have the lowest % in the 8... it's a real concern

But in saying that, the first 3 qtrs were sublime... a good even contribution

TDK was very good as was Young down back

tired, after those first 3 quarters, also didn't take the chances. Bloody good work from TDK!

We need to review our fitness team after this year. To take the next step, we need to be strong fitness wise to have the chance to match good teams especially in tight contests and finals. I dont think we are as fit as we should be.

The pressure today was the key
That’s what modern footy is about
It’s what you do when you haven’t the ball

Owies and Durdin are very important
Carroll looks like a footballer
Cripps was huge again
I think 74 inside 50 s is a record
It’s hard to keep playing at that standard for 4 quarters
Best win so far this year in my book
Long way to go

Really pleased with the result. Could it have been better? Sure, but yet again this week I can't point to a single player and say they had a stinker. There's still a lot to improve but we are trending upwards. I hope the wins keep coming.

I've been hard on you for being a negative contrarian, so I acknowledge and thank you for correcting those who are disappointed that a 68pt lead became a 48pt win. For those feeling deflated, please remember that only a few weeks ago we let a 50pt lead become a 2pt lead and eventual 4pt win, and before that let a 38pt lead become a deficit. We had a reputation for 3rd Q collapses and inability to hold a lead. In the past two weeks we have smashed the opposition in the 3rd Q and never given them a sniff after that. This is a welcome development, let's celebrate it!
