So I have never been to Giants stadium and I am in Sydney when our game is on next week.

I have three adults going...are the $60 tickets on lower level wing good or somewhere better?

I am MCC member not a CFC. Any help would be great.

Can't help. Without reserved tickets (because I like to sit in different spots depending on the game), you can sit on the wing opposite side to Members but given game is 3.20, you might be facing the sun till it sets behind the Grandstand. Sun sets at least 30 minutes before it does in Melbourne.

You will really like the boutique ground. I love it. Just hate the thrashings I've had to endure.

A crowd of 8000 can sound like 20000. There are plenty of Carlton fans attend Sydney games.

I bought some member discounted seats in section 247 which is what I was given as the “best available “, I hope I don’t have a problem with the sun. They seems to be near the fence but were only about $20 each.

Go Blues.

Pretty sure last time you could pretty much sit anywhere. Pleasant joint to watch a game. Thinking about doing the highway haul for it.

I find that the club's offers aren't the best seats and you can find yourself sitting next to an opposition supporter more than not.

$60 a reserved seat on the wing. I haven't bought any yet.

I might just rock up like Sydney Blue does.

I will be the bloke in the Carlton jumper

I reckon you should try give the club a call - might be a spot for you on the wing if you can show some dash and maybe stick a tackle or two….

I’m intending on going with the family.

Haven’t been for awhile but it’s a good ground to watch the footy.

I went last year for the first time, that was an evening game and the stadium was pretty nice, not sure that’s it’s like in day time. Of course I have bad memories as we were smashed, I’m hoping to come away with good memories this time! Hopefully my daughter can see her first win.

Last game there that I went to was the game where Kristian Jaksch destroyed us and obviously we then subscribed to the “if they play well against us…” theory.

We went up last year. I think it was our worst performance all year. Just zero effort. Came home the long way via the blue mountains and bathurst. Kids vommed in the car three times between Bathurst and Gunning and it was still not the worst bit of the weekend.

I’m guessing you went south through Crookwell which I haven’t done but the road to the east that ends up in Goulburn is a great drive sans vomit.

There’s some weirdarse mongrel country out there between Black Springs and Taralga.

Hard not to hear banjos.

Guessing most of the seats are out in the weather if it rains? Any tips on seating that might be under cover?

Grandstand.

Should be a clear day out in the west.

Long shot, but if anyone doesn't have tickets and still wants to attend despite all our shit news- I have 4 available in S202 Row C, 2 adults and 2 juniors.

They were $100 for the 4 of them but I'll take $50. send me a PM if interested.

Kid 2 kindly came down with gastro last night so our weekend trip interstate is off. Just waiting until the rest of us get it. @#$%&!! :-x

Judging by the photos of the stadium, if you sit in the back few rows of the front lower section (the grandstand seems unavailable at all), then you get a bit of cover from the overhang.

Thanks for all the comments and advice.

Sat in aisle 202, second front row. Heard the hits. They are tough....all of them.

Wow, what a nice stadium.

Really good feel.

Even better we won!!

It's such an enjoyable joint to watch the game - especially with kids. They can just wander round or kick the footy on the concourse for two hours if they don't want to watch and tehy always know where to come back.
