Other than Melbourne humming it has been a rather even season. Usually 12 wins will get to 7th or 8th position at the end of the year, but last year 7th & 8th teams won only 11. One week at a time Paddy...starting this week to get us to 6 wins after 8 rounds. 8 Adel - Home - W = 6 wins 9 GWS - Away - L ** 10. Syd - Home -W = 7 wins 11. Coll - MCG - W = 8 wins BYE: Mid season Draft/ Return of Marchbank and Cuningham through VFL 12. Ess - MCG - W = 9 wins 13. Rich - MCG - L ** 14. Freo - Home - W = 10 wins 15. STK - Home - W = 11 wins 16. WCE - Away - W = 12 wins 17. Geel - MCG - W = 13 wins 18. GWS - Home - W - 14 wins 19. Adel - Away - W - 15 wins 20. Bris - Away - L 21.Melb - MCG - L 22. Coll - MCG - W = 16 wins 16 wins is Top 4, beat Rich again and its Top 2, guaranteed if we beat GWS away. Give us the CUP !!! |

Adel - Away - W - 13 wins 20. Bris - Away - L 21.Melb - MCG - L 22. Coll - MCG - W = 14 wins Could easily see us winning some I've marked as losses - GWS in a couple of weeks, Swans, aints and tiggers. Could also easily see us losing a couple I've marked as wins - Freo, Cats in particular. In short anywhere from 12 to 16 wins is what we're likely looking at. 12 wins and with our percentage would likely mean 7th or 8th. 13/14 wins would likely mean 5th or 6th and playing at the G in week 1 of the finals. 16 and we're looking at somewhere in the top 4. |

After the past 20 years, just making finals will be a major achievement. Whether it takes 11 or 12 wins, as long as we get there, i'll be rapt. But at this stage, just winning this week will do me. |
