OK, I’ll play….

1. We will only win 2 of the next 5 games.
2. Kemp is unlikely to make the grade.
3. TDK will probably breakdown before Pittonet is ready to return.
Way harsh dude.

Which one? I hope none are correct, but I don’t think 1 is harsh at all. 2 is just my opinion (and note I said “unlikely”, as opposed to “won’t”). 3 perhaps I should reframe - what I mean is we’re a little bit screwed if TDK becomes unavailable before Pittonet comes back, and given our history of injuries to big men it won’t surprise me if that happens.

TDK is a young developing body playing the toughest team sport in the world.
He is always vulnerable till he becomes a fully grown ruckMAN.
Fingers crossed he continues to survive and halve the contest.

Remind me how you thought Charlie Curnow would go on his return?

I honestly can’t remember. Was this last year? I probably said it would take him a while to get back to his best, and that there’s a chance he won’t get back to being the player he was. I don’t think I ever said he was finished.

I'm not having a go abns, but yes you're right.
Based on that, I like you're predictions on Kemp, 2/5 wins and TDK.
I know you hope you're wrong.

Go Blues.

I absolutely hope I’m wrong!

I reckon that we should make finals from here. Anything else would be a disappointment.
I also realise that I - and all of us on this thread - have put the mozz on!

Our percentage probably means we’ll need an extra game in hand. I think 14 would be an amazing result. 13 should see us make it with a bit to spare.
12 could go either way.

I’m really glad we beat Kangas and Crows solidly but we really should have put on an extra 3-4 goals in each game to get our percentage up.

Each week we are stomping on hoodoos and recent histrorical hurdles. I’ll be happy to see that continue.

^ I reckon 13 is minimum to get in this year (think I said that earlier actually).

Oh, I was attempting to be facetious but it failed on the internet!

I actually agree re: Kemp (from what I've seen/heard/read).

I found myself barracking (sort of) for Essendon* against Hawthorn. I hate them both, I was hoping they'd damn near kill each other, (a few reports would have been good too) and the drugsters would win by a point. It was good to see Mitchell's monkeys get belted though, pity it was Essendon* who did it, but you take your jollies where you can.

If the win/loss standings were reversed I would have been barracking (sort of) for Hawthorn.

Meh. Draft pick, daft prick... I'm happy for them to get the spoon regardless of the reward.

I'm so thoughtful that I sleep with 2 women these days...

So that when I fall asleep they have someone to talk to..

I wouldn't mind seeing Plowman given a chance on Toby

It's better for our ladder position if Essendon* beat Sydney this round.

Plowman has a decent record against the best small/mid forwards. At times he has been taken to the cleaners but that's because they are the best forwards and they can turn it on against anyone. Even SOS conceded some big bags.
I'd possibly favour Williams but if that doesn't work, Plowman is the next best option.

IF Plowman can play body on body when the ball is coming in, Toby wont outmark him.

I don't rate Plowman's ability against smaller players like you. You can count a handful of opponents he's beaten, but IMO he's lost more battles against smaller opponents than won, and it got to the point where he lost fans, including me. His game became stiff, dour, and clumsy.

I know what Plowman was like before he came to Carlton. SOS pigeon holed Plowman as a defender, and until his last game, all he became was a dour defender. Last game however, he took on the game. He had a bit of luck go his way with umpires (who usually wrongly crucify him).

My no. 1 opponent is Williams. Both about same height, but Williams will have to play close to him when ball is heading Greene's way. Next in line I thought I'd have Saad but Greeney may be a bit strong for Saady body on body, hence I would go next with Plowman too.
