32 inside 50s to 15

Not going to win many games with that ratio

Despite Pittonet going down the clearances are fairly even.

Fremantle able to move the ball from defence to attack with relative ease.

Some training drill kickouts from Fremantle - two Freo defenders near the 50m/boundary intersection; one holds the Carlton player and the other takes an uncontested mark.

Pitto getting injured is the difference, it's that simple.

Newnes playing his last game surely?

These kicks out of D50 are killing us.
Predictable football.

Typical walters.
Just when his career looks cooked they find a game against carlton.

Also... it seems that blocking in the ruck contest free kicks go against the blues all the time, but Darcy has eyes only for Pitto the whole time, runs into him and busts his knee. Play on.

Time for TDK to blast into Darcy every contest

Can someone please explain what the match committee see in Jordan Boyd? Our bottom 6 are @#$%&! woeful. Boyd, Newnes, Newman, Setters, Durdin and Fisher are completely ineffective

The alarm bells r ringing. Boys look very disorganised. Pittonet is a BIG loss. Harry does not look 100%. Very worrying signs. They look much faster especially on transition. Need to have a massive turnaround from here. I hope we can at least make a game of it and fight hard in the second half.

If that is the sole difference then we are in a world of trouble.

Pretty sure hawks beat cats last week after their only ruckman went down after a quarter.

It can be done, if the players work hard enough and the coaching staff adapt.

Darcy is constantly shepherding TDK away from the ball at centre bounces, why does only Pitto get penalised for this?

durdin has potential and is young. the rest have been in thr system too long and are spuds. i dont understad why dow is in the twos while fisher gets a free ride - and i've been a fan of fisher for a while, but he has lost me - no intensity

also, we are now reaping the rewards of liam jones retiring. teams smother our forward line and stop us scoring and then go down to a weak backline. young may have potential, but he is too weak

and darcy is just a prick

Furious about this. Free kick in every contest around the ground so why is it allowed in a centre ruck contest? Has effectively ended our season.

I'm looking forward to the second half. We're undermanned and down on the scoreboard but it gives us a chance to see what our players and coaches are made of.
Clearance dominance has been our king this season but we've lost the ascendancy with Pitto going down.
Do we play man on man through the middle? Does TDK finally get a morsel of grunt into him? Can we get our scores from another method or do we fold like a deck of cards?
You find out a lot about people when things aren't going your way.

Can we just get a @#$%&! good run with injuries for once.

How many times do we lose players in the first few minutes; or they mysteriously injure themselves somehow during the week; or do something innocuous and miss 6 weeks.

Yeah, Rhys Stanley is hardly Darcy.
