Stocker gives both pace and aggression. Better than either Cottrell or Newnes who at best are only back up.

What about Caroll who showed form in the VFL last week.

Plus of course Dow.

Assuming Cripps does not play:

Stocker, Dow in.

Newnes, Owies out.

Let’s hope you’re on the money Teddy … although Crippa in addition to those two would be great …

Trouble with Cripps is the history of the CFC medical team. Even if they pass him fit, one week out for a hammy seems awfully short. He may be okay but better to give him another week than risk losing him long term.

I really hope they give Cripps another week. Risk isn't worth it for mind. Get fully fit. There's 16 more games after this weekend.

I’m happy either way.
I know it’s the same fitness team, but I feel like if they give him the go ahead, it means he really is good to go. If there’s any doubt, they’ll hold him back.

In this case, he clearly reached high up on his hamstring which would signal a
pretty bad version of a hamstring injury. Even if he misses two weeks, I suspect it was a different kind of injury.

It's only early with this coaching group but I'm fairly sure they prefer like for like changes. Especially as the team are going quite well.

I can't see Owies being dropped. Forward pressure has been great.
And if he is, i definitely can't see stocker or dow replacing him.
It would be a small pressure forward

He's the only one in the VFL on our list.

Not much reporting on this.

https://www.perthnow.com.au/sport/fremantle-dockers/covid-reaches-dockers-players-with-five-entering-afls-health-and-safety-protocols-c-6514004

"Defenders Heath Chapman and Hayden Young, alongside Liam Henry and Matthew Johnson, who are close contacts, will join Connor Blakely in the AFL’s Health and Safety Protocols.
They will all miss at least seven days, ruling them out of playing against Carlton in the Len Hall tribute match."

Are Chapman, Young, Henry, and Johnson part of their best 22?

Chapman and Young are.

They've got Tucker and Logue to come back in which is somewhat like for like.

Young has been having a great year, such a lovely kick.

Carr & Boyd out of the coaches box as well.

Freo have two assistant coaches unavailable as well
Training split off into separate groups to limit damage

Could be more to come

I hope they don't give it to our players and then we lose to Norf :banghead:

Next 2 games crucial for our year before the big tests.

One week at a time.

I doubt Cripps will miss.
He was good to go last week.

Mind games.
We need him to bruise those anchormen who should not be sitting 2nd on the ladder.

Hansen said that in a chartered flight the players get to walk around and stretch a fair bit. Nothing like cattle class in domestic.

Odds-on, one of Harry or Ben will get it before next week’s game.

I think we are zero chance of winning this.

I'm far too scarred to have hope.
