If the clearance game isn't going well then they're a very average team.

Poor defensively.

Can't stop run ons.

Can't be successful with just one very good mode (clearance).

Scores from turnover? Where does Carlton rank for and against?

Downhill skiiers, 2 quarter team, one dimensional clearance kings, unable to run both ways and bereft of leadership when momentum shifts.

The worst 4-1 team in the comp but still happy we’re 4-1.

Lots of work to be done.

Thank fk for that.

How bad is it when you don't feel comfortable with a 50pts lead. Our club has driven us to that. Only good thing is again we got caught along way from home but managed to get there.

Can’t understand why we panicked so much in third quarter. Headless chicken stuff. They’re going to give me a heart attack!

3 big leads blown for narrow victories this year.

I feel like my sentiment will be against the grain here....

But the carlton of last year would've lost that by 4 goals.
Also to be 50 up early is a plus.
Port's season and possibly Ken's job were on the line today, they were always going to rally.
4 points is 4 points.

That same mob slapped us late last year by 96ish.

Well done boys.

Plenty to improve on. 4-1

Hewett stepped up with 13 clearances.

Great to see a fit Charlie (2 behind the Coleman lead).

Port had 14 marks inside 50 (average 7 for the year).

Defensive setups need lots of development.

Every side in the competition will think they can run us down no matter how big the lead.

I do t know if it’s mental or physical but how do you almost lose from 8 goals up…..

It almost sounded sarcastic. I'd be almost too embarrassed to join in.

4 points... good to bank some wins regardless how they come with hope of better things to come

But fmd how about some tempo footy when a team gets the inevitable run on. It's almost like the players listen to the crowd yelling out, 'just kick it'... the lack of composure is alarming. If we're not getting first hands on the ball, we get cut up way too easily... plan B?

Glad that we walked away with a victory but that second half was atrocious.

Unsure if we are at the stage of being unhappy with a W but that’s how I feel.

Got out of jail twice in 3 weeks. While we deserve some love from the footy gods, that is unsustainable.

To have all but blown a game from 50 pts up against an 0-4 side is just mind blowingly putrid.

I guess I'd take being the worst 4-1 team than the worst 1-4 team.

Can't we just have a @#$%&! relaxing game for once!

So right Hornet. Mentioned Plan B last week.

Also, the way we set up when Port counter attacked through the midfield was terrible.
