That was my observation when I was observing at a game. He was the sub and played all of about 2 minutes. Great observation! I wouldn’t travel from Busselton to watch a game of footy at the G even though you can fly direct to Tullamarine. I’m talking about a couple of years ago when they played in Perth. So get your facts straight Ah, the old facts. We were beaten in the middle but for some reason the AFL AP ( love, love technology) tells me Martin attended and total of ZERO centre bounces. He had 15 disposals, kicked 2 goals & had three stoppage clearances in a shortened game though. He was also ranked in our best players that day. If you don't like him that's fine but i think your expectations might have you confusing Martins...we have Jack Dustin plays for the Tigers Mate I was there and he was shit. Stats don’t tell the whole story We were flying early then Setters and Kennedy couldn’t get near it after quarter time Walsh had a shocker Murphy typically soft game Cripps and Curnow the only blokes who could hold their head up Martin goes into the middle and was monstered by the Hawks when it really mattered Hawthorn slaughtered us after quarter time The thing I see with Martin is he doesn’t go for the ball instantly Some blokes have no fear to go for the aggot when contact is coming Martin is soft in this area He got his goals when we were flying and when the game was over or junk time He had zero I repeat zero influence when it was needed Only Cripps and Curnow could hold their head up high that day I knew that Martin wouldn’t make it as a mid that day Am I correct on that score 2 years later? |

Mr Keogh, Are you going to the Freo v Carlton game? I'd like to get your insights from watching the Blues live rather than on TV. |

Cazzesman wrote: Just watched the last half. The last 7 mins of the 3rd was full of errors and poor decisions. Composure was needed to just steady the ship.Regards Cazzesman Completely agree. You've got to expect mistakes, but some of those in the 3rd quarter were unaccountably bad. Should have been a comfortable 5 goal win. |
