Very nervous about so many changes. Then I look at the outs and ask myself can any of them consider themselves unlucky based on their output so far this season. IMHO the answer is no.

Be a fair few others on thin ice too I suspect.

Literally have no idea what we will dish up on Sun. This game will tell us a lot. Same old Carlton or finally a proper new regime with new standards and expectations of performance?

Clearly hoping for the latter.

Bossy makes a statement and what a statement!!!! Let's see the boys respond to last weeks insipid performance.
Bossy isn't going to put up with that. i like - not sure I agree with the in's but Bossy is showing he's in charge.

Rewarding those in good, consistent form in the 2's after a poor performance by others in the Seniors. What's not to like?

Plowman a slow start to the year and Parks rock solid in the 2's. Makes sense.

The only surprise is Cottrell instead of Dow. TDK was poor last week and Newnes deserves another go. Averaging 31 possessions, 7.7 marks and plenty of hard running in the VFL.

Dow must really be on the outer.

I'm not 100% about the ins, but hard to argue with the outs

Reading the team from backline to forwardline, I like this team. Cottrell will add some intentsity and I'd hope Dow is the sub.
The changes shows the players they either compete or spend some time in the twos. I think our depth is being tested early, which makes our club more than the 22 selected each week and is now a squad, where everyone has to perform to keep their spot.

Is Dow even in the squad?

Finlayson loves playing against us.

Certainly does Humpers, plays well against us and then 2 weeks later he will be back in the ressies.

Some good inclusions for them, still shocked that Dow did not get a run.

Stocker is the interesting one, he's only played 1.5 games however when he is fit where does he play? Saad, Williams and Doc play the mid size attacking type, maybe replacing Newman? hope his tank has improved as I would love to see him in the midfield.

How nice it would be to win a game by 6 plus goals, our wins are generally a hard fight and never easy eg. Saints on Hawks last week, Dogs today. If we are the real deal and a top 8 side we need to start wining more convincingly and control a game for 4 qtrs. We haven't done this yet this year.

So much for holding back on mass changes.

Rewarding those in better form imo.

He's backing Pitto's fitness and SOS with the chop out.

He's gone for Cottrells speed and endurance over OBriens.

Voss is selecting to win.

Dow. Wow.

I don't mind Voss making so many changes... it's a statement and a few others are very lucky

Cottrell I don't rate and would like to see Dow... but since he didn't play out the game last week, maybe there are fitness issues?

Stocker must be close...

Dow came out of the 2s game last as emergency cover for the 1s.

And I'd like to see Setters in that role... But fear he has the wing with Newnes on the opposite wing...

I agree and am also guessing along with KP that Setters will take on Crippas role. That would mean Cottrell and Newnes to run the wings with Walsh relief. It has added some spice to Sundays game and am really looking forward to see how the game plan pieces fit together.

Voss understands that the wings are a problem so both Newnes and Cottrell are selected. Setterfield who is meant to be a mid takes Cripps role. Dow misses out even though he should be in for team balance.

Yeah , Setterfield to take Cripps spot as the inside mid for sure , Good choice ...............think Cottrel is gonna shut a few up . Perfect running up and down that wing . Newnes has learnt his spot and ALWAYS gives value for money . Integrity in selections for mine .
